This sounds like going one step further than Cursed Child? Excellent if it works. 110k people on the presale list... Do we know how many were on the Cursed Child list?

Groundhog Day. A smart, emotional, funny, warm and energetic show with songs that I truly adore and a ton of great performances. I went 7 times and that still wasn't enough.

I looked on the website earlier for tickets for tonight and all seats had a bookable "dayseat £25" option on there. This was at about 6pm today so they are discounting close to showtime now I think!

Sia's Satisfied is online floating about. Love her so much, and her vocals are nuts ( and Latifah's verse is great) Yes its great. There are 6 tracks from the mixtape already available to download. Satisfied, Wait For it, My Shot, Quiet Uptown, Immigrants and Wrote My Way Out. The two ones that arent covers- Immigrants and Wrote My Way Out are both really special.

What do we think are the chances of tickets getting reduced on the website closer to showtime? has anyone noticed this happening so far?
I entered the lottery today and got a notification saying I didn't win but I could buy tickets through todaytix for £25. I went in as soon as I got the notification but it said that allocation was sold out.

Just to pass on a warning from someone. Apparently there is over 5 minutes of intense strobe lighting and video, so epileptics should be aware. Yep there is, its very intense if you are in the front row. I saw a couple of people who had to be taken out sat outside being seen to after the show.

Met a couple on the tube last night who had just been to see it and said I would like it "If you like musicals" very dismissively. Why you would go to a musical if you don't like musicals is anyone's guess but I guess the Bowie factor will do this. That's interesting. I took my sister last night who doesnt really enjoy musicals and she really loved the show and properly connected with it whereas I love musicals and I didn't really connect with it. The performances are good, I was particularly impressed by Michael Esper and will probably book The Glass Menagerie because he's in it now. Staging/ lighting is really different and interesting and I like the orchestrations, its all just a bit too bonkers for me story wise. I think if you feel a strong emotional connection with the world of Bowie then you will fidn this affecting, but it just didn't do anything for me really.

Just seen this from one of those £15 seats- probably one of the best £15 seats I've ever sat in! No neck craning and it's a brilliant view. It's very close and quite intense at times sat there but I really excellent way to experience the show I think. Is it a bit like watch tennis thou? Not hugely, or at least it didn't feel that way. There are only a few moments where I had to look around a bit to get the full picture, so much of it happens right in the middle of the stage.

Excellent news! He was terriffic in the role, hoping it will be third time lucky for him at the Tonys next year (and the Oliviers)! They've also released some new artwork... Think I actually prefered the yellow background, pink and blue colour scheme. This somehow makes the Groundhog look a bit evil! I like the font, but yes, I sort of miss the yellow and pink!

I saw this last night. The performances were great but I just couldn't really see what point it was trying to make. The character writing is strong and the fun moments between the girls are really wonderful but story wise it didn't really do anything for me. It's big, serious subject matter but a little bit more hope in the show especially when you grow to really love the girls would have been nice.

LMM was definitely reading off cue cards for most of his rap in the monologue, you can see him constantly looking to the side of the camera even as he's walking behind the scenes. Fair enough though, it's a hella lotta words. Apparently they only finished writing it the night before! He did incredibly well considering!

Revisited this last night, having seen it from the very top/ back of the theatre right at the beginning of previews it was a real treat to see it from row c of the stalls.
Everyone has grown into the roles wonderfully, Anthony Boyle was out ( holiday week I think) so James Le Lacheur was on, a brilliant Scorpius, it's probably the best role in the play and it's so well written.
Everything feels smoother than the last time I saw it. The atmosphere is different from last time, I guess it's safe to assume a large chunk of the audience have read the published script now so there isn't the gasping and ripples of excitement throughout the audience that there was before. Still a few gasps in the Umbridge reality part though!
Really thought I'd escape emotionally intact this time, but no... that one moment when the leads are all at the front of the stage watching the murders happen is such a huge moment in the potter universe, I defy anyone to not be moved by it. It's such a perfect moment.

Whisper House sounds fascinating from the email, what's your opinion, having a bit more knowledge than that, charliec ? I can't remember that much having gone to the show straight from a flight from London, but the story was really intriguing and the music was beautiful. Much more Spring Awakening than American Psycho.

I didn't even get the "so how old are you?" phone call. Ha, me neither! Me neither... and there was me thinking my over enthusiastic reply within 2 mins of the email arriving would get me in! Oh well. I am going to the show tonight though, 7th visit and i'm so thrilled that i'll be at the last one.
