Weirdly it appeared as a shaded out square on Todaytix this afternoon, so I set an alert for when it would go on sale, alert came up saying they had £35 tickets and then as soon as I was in the app the whole page for the show completely disappeared. So maybe TT will have some tomorrow, I happened to have my phone in my hand when the alert came through so it definitely wasn’t them selling out of the tickets instantly.

Looks like they've added more lucky dip tickets across all dates if anyone was looking for cheaper seats

Very happy to hear the positive reviews but have booked a ticket for row A seat 30 and am slightly worried it may not be the best view. Is it possible to change where I am sat as the date hasn’t others avalibility or is this seat actually not too bad? If you booked direct with the Young Vic they are normally flexible about swapping tickets if you give them a call. Might be a small fee for doing this. I swapped some tickets in person the other day, it was £1 per ticket to switch

Loved this tonight. This London production feels similar to Broadway and yet is entirely it’s own thing, it was beautiful and raw and it totally lived up to expectations. I can’t wait to go again. There was a bunch of people at the box office bookings return visits as we were leaving!

I booked about 6 tickets for the first performance for me and some friends during members booking before the ticket limit notice was on the site. YV haven’t contacted me to say I can’t have all those tickets and the bookings are all on my account so I’m hoping it’s ok? I’m too scared to ask in case they take some of my tickets back and I have to disappoint my friends!

I don't think staggered ticket releases (i.e. releasing a few tickets at a time for the same date) are that unusual, particularly in these days of dynamic pricing. They create false demand for the show earlier when it looks like seats are nearly sold out. The Book of Mormon certainly does this, even shows like Pinocchio at the National Theatre does. And it's really common with concerts. Sometimes they say that they are seats held back for producers and VIPs, which has some truth to it, but for popular shows or to create demand, it's planned like this from the outset. Hamilton is still releasing some "cheaper" seats shortly before the production, usually 24 hours, but sometimes between 8am and 10am in the morning. They tend to be £75 front row and £100 box seats. They also occasionally reclassify the less desirable of the £200 seats to £89.50 or £137.50 at the same time (often singles), but that's not guaranteed. I'd expect those prices to go up in line with the wider pricing increases. Tickets (returns) are still very occasionally appearing, but they get snapped up quickly. They're also generally reappearing at the higher price points, as opposed to the point they originally went on sale at, so it's very unlikely you'll spot anything below £89.50, even in the upper circle. It may still happen, but I haven't spotted any for a couple of weeks now. Oh Tuesday I randomly checked the site and scooped up 2 upper circle £37.50 seats for last night’s show. A few weeks ago my sister managed to get a single upper circle seat for a midweek evening. So they do pop up!

Early in Groundhog Day previews I went quite a few times after getting v last minute premium tickets at £21 down from £90! The Old Vic is great at making some seats really cheap on the day of performance, especially during previews. Did the same for Christmas Carol.

Hi All I called the change your credit card details line last week, as my previous card no longer worked. I have just checked my booking online and can no longer find any record of my booking for Weds, just the original cancelled performance from Nov. Has this happened to anyone else? I remember others mentioning this happened to them. The important things you need are the original email, and the email you received when they changed the booking. Because of the way the bookings were changed, it's possible your TM account isn't showing the revised date - you need to find the emails instead. if you can't find that, phone them and get an email resent, but you'll still (apparently) need the original one too. Technically, you should be able to get in to the theatre with just the credit card and ID, since the ticket is printed recognising just the credit card details. I suspect there'll be a few each performance who might have this problem, but the box office should be able to unite the card details with the tickets, if you have an altered booking without a new confirmation email. Best call TM though, they should be able to sort you out before Wednesday. On your Ticketmaster account when you open the bookings page and click on the original booking, the "receipt" bit should show your new booking?

I thought Ash's alternate show was the Saturday matinee? Or does he do the Monday night as well? Is this Dreamgirls? 😂😂 There's no set show as far as I'm aware. I believe it changes on a weekly basis His scheduled alternate show is Monday nights. anything else is cover for Jamael.

How’s the merchandise queue been these days? In other words, how early do I need to get there on Saturday to avoid queuing for an age for a mug? Last night I arrived in the upper circle bar/ merch area at 7ish expecting a huge queue but there was no queue. Not sure how it was on the other two levels but I presume all queues have eased a bit if there is now a merch area open on the dress circle level?

Yesterday was Marsha Songcomes first show as "Eliza", did anyone happen to catch her? I'm actually dying to hear how she was :-O I was there! I really liked her version of Eliza, her Burn was full of anger and emotion. I thought her and Ash Hunter (on for his scheduled alternate performance last night) were really believable together. There were a couple of mistakes but totally understandable considering it was her first time on in that role. I thought she gave a far more nuanced, interesting and spirited performance than I've seen from Rachelle Ann Go thus far. I'd love to see what she could do given time to develop in the role. I really loved Ash as Hamilton as well. Where Jamael goes for a quiet controlled determination, Ash is far more energetic and emotional, like Javier Munoz on Broadway he is a bit more smiley and excitable than I've seen others do it. I loved his version of Hurricane.

Finally going tomorrow! Two quick questions to those that have already been: - where is the cast board located? - is there a cloakroom? Thanks! Yep there’s a cloakroom, If I remember correctly it’s just off to the right when you walk in the main door. There is a digital cast board on the left in the main entrance hall.

Went again last night, on the way to some loos on the dress circle level I found a whole room still very much in progress that looked like it was going to be a bar and or merch area. Anyone know? there were signs up apologising for the mess and scaffolding and plastic sheeting still up. quite a good sized bar/ room too.

so have they widened the stalls? when I look on the old seat plan my seat didn't exist, yet I'm sure when I booked it was fairly central I sat in D30! it's a great central seat!

Anyone know what the returns situation is? Are people queuing outside in hope? At about 7 last ngiht there was about 3 or 4 people stood off to the left hand side of the the theatre (if you are facing it) next to the security guard. A box office person was there asking how many tickets each person was after etc. We managed to get some grand circle seats yesterday at about 4pm on the ticketmaster site that just appeared so the queue might only be useful for v last minute returns?

I have a ticket for tonight. Anyone who went yesterday, do we need to print off our booking details?? No you can have it on your phone but might be easier to have a print out of the reminder email ticketmaster will have sent as you have to show it a couple of times

Oh and there were definitely a few lyrics changes. The one in particular that I remember was in "Take a Break" where rather than Hamilton sining "John Adams doesn't have a real job anyway" he sings "Vice President isn't a really job anyway" They changed “Weehawken, Dawn” to “New Jersey, Dawn” in Obedient Servant too.

I want to know what happened to all the cute Groundhogs on the souvenir stand. Were they released into the wild or New York sewer system? Simply 86'd and left to ring handbells dressed as Santa on the corner? Packed in crates for export to London when the show moves again? Or quietly taken downstream on the Hudson with a sack and a brick? We need to know. I desperately wanted one but they were totally sold out of everything. I think all those little Groundhogs have homes

I was at the last show yesterday. So glad I went and it was such a treat to see the show and hear the music live again. There were standing O's after Nobody Cares, Hope and if I Had My Time Again... and at the end obviously, the cast had a snow fight on stage at the end. It was all pretty emotional, lots of people really sobbing at the end. This show means a lot to a small group of people here.
Andy Karl's performance has got really slick and strong and funnier. It's fairly similar to the Old Vic version music wise, large amounts of staging is the same but there are some differences, Hope has an extra sequence and If I had My Time Again is a bit more static which I felt was a shame, though the Twirl a Whirl sequence is lovely.
I feel like the London production felt a lot more characterful and quirky. It feels like it's all been flattened a bit for Broadway (possibly to make it appeal more broadly) but I loved the show in London because of its quirkiness and real sense of character. If it comes back to London I hope it can bring that sense back with it because that really is the magic that made it feel so alive in London.
I'm so glad I went, the audience were quite mad and loved the show, it was just quite sad for everyone there because it was a room full of people who dearly love the show.

Check your ticketmaster accounts I had tickets for 21st Nov and 5th of Dec. They've magically changed to 6th and 13th Dec similar if not better seats.

I'm going to the final show. I was going to New York that day anyway but was going to see something else. Just booked a ticket for the final GHD show because I was at the last Old Vic performance and I'm a completist who loves this show so much!

Argh. This is a shame.
I'm going to be in NYC on closing day. I was planning on seeing a different show but in case it never comes back to London (and I really, really hope it does) I'm tempted to get a ticket for the last show in NYC.
But Broadway trips don't happen v often and I want to see stuff that definitely won't come over... but I really bloody loved GHD.
How are we feeling about the chances of it actually coming back to London?
