I thought it might happen, as I figured they wouldn’t want to wait too long to get a production on, but I’m devastated that the timing of the run means Charlotte Wakefield is unable to return as Veronica - she was absolutely brilliant in the workshop

I haven’t watched the broadcast yet, but I listened to the live radio stream and didn’t think much of John’s vocals. As I say, I haven’t seen the broadcast yet so it might have just been the radio stream quality, nor have I seen the show yet so I can’t compare to how it sounds in the theatre.

That would be awesome, but has Zizi got the belt for it? I love her voice, but I'm not sure if I can picture her smashing Let It Go. I feel the same. She’s also excellent at playing awkward/dorky so I can more easily see her being a wonderful Anna

I can see the seating plan for anything later on in the year (e.g. 2nd booking period, August onwards) but for anything more immediate, like this week, I don’t see a seating plan regardless of what browser or device I use. Not particularly helpful as some of the seats don’t show up in the list of available seats.

I saw the show in Leeds and really enjoyed it, and was so pleased that it was coming in to town and that Zizi Strallen had been cast. However, the change from a mix of original songs & film songs to an entirely jukebox song list and having only one person sing? I’m not sure I can get behind that. Friends who saw it in Leeds and were there yesterday have said positive things, so maybe it isn’t as bad as it seems, but I think I’ll be waiting a while to see it.

I know it’s expected that Hamilton will get a lot of noms, but I’m rather passionate about Obioma Ugoala getting a nod for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. I’m genuinely a bit stunned that he didn’t get the nomination

Who played Holly as Eliza Hope Bennett couldn't do it? Charlotte Harwood was Holly and Lauren Hall was Leia, which was the understudy situation with the original London production. Ashley Tucker, who played Elaine in the original YMT production, took on the same role last night in place of Lauren.

Some jokes didn't land, such as one that clearly needed props. There was a joke continuously about foil that I still don't get. It wasn’t really a joke but if you haven’t seen the show before, it’s almost impossible to understand without costumes. Throughout the first act the character of Samantha is seen with bits of silver foil, and Leia questions her about it. At the start of the second act, you then learn that she was using the foil to make her costume for the sci-if convention

Anyone know a way round the seat map being switched off. I want to book one of the boxes, but don't think it's an option as it's considered 'restricted viewing'? Internet explorer gives you the seat map. I used Chrome and got the 'select seats for me' It was at first but not anymore I don’t think. I selected seats on Internet Explorer and got stuck on the ‘securing your tickets’ and then when that timed out the only option was ‘select seats for me’

Alas this sadly looks like one that may pass me by. According to the website this is now completely sold out. Grr! If you're bothered enough to keep checking the website, seats have been popping back up fairly regularly. For instance, both shows tomorrow were sold out but then both had seats come back up today, and are now sold out again.

In the official statement they say it’s ‘an unforeseen schedule conflict’
They still haven’t announced a Mrs Hastings in the cast as far as I’m aware, so it could possibly be related to that.

I think I'm regretting not seeing this. I reckon I could last minute this on Saturday, but is the general mood that it's worth it? It'll cost me £55 for a ticket and travel... I say go for it, I think it’s such a charming show! I think you’ll have to be quick with a decision though - there aren’t many tickets left at all!

... and why there were two pasos this week... Next week will be the ‘-athon’ and this year it’s Paso, so they had to make it so all contestants had danced it before then. Of course, they could have scheduled it so that there was only one couple left to do Paso at Blackpool, but it’s one of the best dances to do there so I can see why they were okay to have 2 (even though I personally wasn’t taken with either of them)

So Ive just got the sound track and I'm confused with the casting of Kelsey Grammar, is he going to be playing Edward throughout the whole show or will they have a younger version? as I cant imagine him singing some of the songs Norbert Leo Butz sings and especially not in the same key! Jamie Muscato is playing young/story Edward

I half agree with you, however considering what is going on with this, keeping the same row is basically the best result you are going to get, people are not getting similar seats at all, so, although this is less than ideal, it seems to be something everyone is going to have to put up with to some degree. Ooops, just read they've been bumped from second to last row, to second row in dress. This is surely an upgrade if anything, even if it's now on the side. Although if you phone up to complain about it, no doubt they'll quite be happy to exchange for seats further back, no doubt the biggest complaint will be those who were near the front being moved towards the back. It's the issue of being moved to seats that are potentially going to have a restricted view. Obviously no-one can say for certain either way at the moment, and I hope that in the refurb they'll have thought about minimising restrictions. I'm grateful to have tickets at all, but I'm not going to pretend that it won't be disappointing if I end up with a restricted view, when I booked my original seats in order to have a 'full' view of the stage/set. Anyway, these new seats aren't even definite yet, and wherever I'm sat I can't know what the view will be like until I'm actually in the seat, so I shall just hope for the best.

How do you request a receipt? If you go into your Ticketmaster account, in the My Tickets section there should be options for Order Details and Print Receipt, you want the latter.

Someone on a Facebook group mentioned that if you request the receipt for your cancelled date it shows the new ticket details, mine shows I got my 3rd choice date. Not sure how safe it is to rely on until we get the email. If this does turn out to be correct, I've been moved from 2nd to last row Dress on the centre aisle to 2nd row Dress on the very outer aisle, and I'm not sure I'm happy with that. It's for my first choice date, but I booked the seats I had originally because I wanted to be as central as I could get, and I'd be surprised if these new seats aren't somewhat restricted.

The main restaurant has always been at the top of the marble staircase? Unless they re-modelled since February when I was last there, the box office is opposite the main doors as you come in, too? Not anymore. A very recent change then, it was still all as before at the start of July

It doesn't help, I think, that they use the "traffic light" system to indicate availability, but then the Book button is Red in every case. At the time in question where it says book now at the top of the page it just read sold out it wouldnt let you access the dates This seems to happen on their website on a fairly frequent basis, at least in my experience, along with other 'glitches' on their dates/booking pages

I did quite well on all the rounds last night, Tibidabo. Missing vowels is my specialty though. One of the missing vowels questions last night had two possible answers which was fun as I got the answer the contestants didn't say. I also said the answer they didn't give and felt very pleased with myself

Does anyone know how to get priority booking? Don't know if it helps you but just had a priority booking email from Atg for card holders. I've not listened to the show but loved the film, and that's a great cast. Guess i'm going to have to break my pledge to not arrange any more London trips this year :/ Looking at the ATG ticket prices it seems they wont be doing the £5 / £10 cheapies that they've done for previous shows Any chance you could PM the link please? Am a Theatrecard member, but like many others it seems, I rarely get the priority booking emails No need - ATG just tweeted link

In a workshop can it hypothetically change night to night, based on notes from TPTB? Yes, and from what I've heard it is changing show to show. I was at the first show on Tuesday night (which was brilliant) and I know of some changes that have been made since then. Audience feedback could also play a part in any changes, as they're using sli.do to collect feedback

Alice was rocking it on stage last night at her 51st Elphaba show, I've been told! Someone said that last night was Alice saying she's ready for lead, so let's hope she's got it! Seems a very odd thing to say even if she has got it. Can't think of anyone that would say"right that's it, I'm ready for lead now" Something tells me the person that originally said this is either making it up or has misheard... I think the person who made that comment (in the Wicked thread) meant that Alice's performance was her showing that she's ready to be lead, not that she outright said she was ready - at least that is how I interpreted it anyway
