I'm not excited at all, I've only spent the last few days telling my work colleagues how I won't be back next week as I'll be running off to America with Jeremy Jordan 🙂

Another one in the front row at Bristol this week. An absolute steal for £13 and a superb show. A real pick-me-up that my dad and I needed at the moment during a stressful house purchase!

After frantically refreshing and trying not to add more than 2 tickets to my basket on the dreadful LW Theatres website, I finally ended up with Row C stalls. Bit more than I was going to pay, but he's worth it!

Still smiling after a superb evening at the Barbican Hall last night. Joe Stilgoe was fantastic, such a talented and funny man. The BBC Concert Orchestra and big band were also great. It was a Christmas present for my parents. They used to live in France so hadn't been in a theatre since 2019. We all enjoyed ourselves hugely.

but it's a bit of fun and you get to see The Fleesh in some gold lame trunks. What more could you want for an evening's entertainment?!

Saw this in Bath last night and absolutely loved it. I know who Carole King is but had no idea she wrote so many well known songs. The cast were all excellent, I really enjoyed the actor musician aspect, and thought the whole thing flowed really well.
My parents were supposed to go but tested positive yesterday so I went instead. Can't wait to see it again in Cardiff with them, I'm sure they'll love it too.

Gary Barlow is performing in A Different Stage at the moment. I find it interesting how on Twitter he's telling fans that it's a theatre show and they shouldn't be singing along or taking photos. Maybe people do need to be reminded of theatre etiquette before they go.

Aled Jones also played Joseph back in the 90s, it was his first musical theatre role. Summer season at the Blackpool Opera House.

Traffic Cone is definitely Aled Jones. You can hear his Welsh accent coming through when he's speaking.

I saw Alex Tranter as Shakespeare back in November and he was brilliant. Had no idea he was the second cover until I looked at Twitter after the show.

Second half marginally better, although could have been a lot shorter. The reprise of that terrible first song at the end did not fill me with joy, they should have done Power of Love or Johnny Be Good again.
The effects were brilliant though.

In the interval and I really don't like it. The scenery and effects are great, and there's nothing wrong with the performers.
The dialogue and songs are dire though. It's fast paced one minute, then slow and tedious.
I'm staying as my friend is enjoying it, just hope I enjoy the second half more!

Another thing I forgot to mention - I was wearing a thin jumper last night and it was very warm in there.

Thank you, I can't wait. We're on row J and I've got a bright pinky purpley coat so feel free to say hi anyone who spots me :-) Row J of stalls? If so I'm in the same row so will look out for you. My coat is now in the cloakroom so I'm wearing a jumper with a large sparkly star on it. The afternoon tea here is stunning, loving it.
