Is anyone having issues signing up to the pre-sale? Once I click to submit my details, nothing happens?

That's a long run! Obviously confident they have another smash on their hands.

The not-leaving-a-set-by-itself rule scuppered me from getting a £30 seat near the front so had to make do with the back. At least I'm going.

x.com/NationalTheatre/status/1709609798021366109?s=20Very sadly Jo Martin is indisposed and has had to withdraw from the role of Denise in #DeathOfEnglandClosingTime We’re grateful to Sharon Duncan-Brewster for stepping in at short notice to play Denise for the remainder of the run, alongside Hayley Squires.

The music is still awesome and I'm still trying to identify the song at the start of Act 2 when they kiss (Wake Up by Arcade Fire comes later). Was it the Nine Inch Nails track, Something I can never have? Someone on Spotify has put together a playlist of the music:

Is this another one actor play, or do we think there’s a supporting cast? Article linked above says the lead, so assume there are other cast members.

Has anyone seen this yet? Sorry to be that person but wanted to know the running time as its oddly elusive on the NT website.

Just watched the finale of Australia series 2. A great ending in a very different way.

Saw this a couple of weeks ago, it's a bit of fluff but really shouldn't be what the West End is aspiring to host. The plot was nonsensical and other than a couple of good comic turns, the acting and the set left a lot to be desired. I don't mean this to be derogatory but it really was like am-dram with a budget. Similarly I had very low expectations and it was fine but really had no place being in a West End house, filler or not.

Fairly painless once through, only weekends seem to have low availability unsurprisingly.

I was there too, found it quite hard work unfortunately. Partly down to how uncomfortable the seats in the upper circle are (I'm 6ft 6) but also just couldn't get into the rhythm of it and by the halfway mark was quite bored. Scott is still great to watch but at the moment feels he's performing to the stalls as there were several points where I couldn't hear him. Points where he's literally whispering need to be projected more but sure that will be ironed out, I won't be revisiting though.
1hr 50mins straight through, a few walkouts.

I was there last night and think the Time Out review is pretty bang-on - its a great production of a 3* musical for me.

Went on Monday night, front row. No ponchos for the transfer, it seems - I regretted wearing shorts.

Portia Coughlan the Denise Gough production? Sadly not. Carrie Cracknell (Oil; The Deep Blue Sea) returns to the Almeida to direct Alison Oliver (Women, Beware the Devil; Best Interests) in Marina Carr’s heart-wrenching modern Irish classic about destructive families and obsession.

I went to the final preview last night and found it very effecting. It is minimal staging - in the round, on the floor (no stage) and only minimal props (inside cardboard boxes, the significance of which becomes clearer as the piece goes on). I feel the capacity of the Dorfman has been massively reduced but someone may correct me there.
The first, shorter, act is the background on the events leading up to the night itself - the missed opportunities and outright corruption that led to the disaster. This bit felt slower and at times, more of a lecture than theatre (multiple screens are placed around the theatre and used to briefly show archive footage, and for the rest of the piece to spotlight characters being questioned during the inquiry).
After the interval however, things ramp up significantly as the actors play both the survivors of the fire explaining how they escaped as well as playing multiple roles within the inquiry.
Saying any more would possibly spoil things but there is some fourth wall breaking and an ending that I haven't seen in a theatre before but massively paid off, in my opinion.
Pretty much bang on 3 hours last night, though we started late, and didn't feel it at all. This might not tell you an awful lot you don't know if you followed the inquiry. But its pulled off with such heart and care that this is a must-see for me. There was a group of young American teens / early 20s in last night who clearly didn't know about the case and were stunned and gasped in several moments - so if it can highlight the injustice to others, then its already doing its work imo.

Did anyone else see the Danny Dyer one at the Almeida in 2008? Remember enjoying it a lot but I was fairly new to theatre then.

I was there last night and was really taken by this, as you say its quite perplexing at first but I was fully under its spell by the end and its still playing on my mind now.
I didn't know Sue Jenkins was in it (I am very bad at reading cast lists beforehand!) and as a Brookside fan was thrilled, she is wonderful.
Best thing I've seen at the Court for a while though I agree, this will divide people.

I was at the matinee yesterday, went down very warmly with a lot of people on their feet. I enjoyed it though did think the themes such as racism, the campaign for the LGBT+ rights armband in Qatar etc could have been explored in more depth. Knowing how everything pans out does take away any peril, but then I know that won't be the case for everyone. Some of the writing also felt a bit clunky at times (Why would they be stood on the Wembley Stadium pitch to have a brief conversation that the Euros had been delayed by Covid?) - but a crowd pleaser for sure and one I suspect will have a longer life.
Also as an aside - do we think they weren't able to get clearance for Three Lions?

Same, plenty of the cheaper tickets left, presumably due to how slow the booking process is.
