Previews are £29.25 - £89.25 £39.25 - £133.25 after that.
I am curious about this. Without spoiling anything she does a very good job in the film Predestination which has elements of this.

Has anyone done Friday rush for this/know where the available seats would be located? I'm hoping to try my luck and snag a good seat but not sure how difficult it'll be to get Did it last week, by the time I got through the queue there were only £10 seats in the back two rows of the circle but those seats were fine (and a steal for £10)

Oh Andrew I do like you but... no. 7pm starts suggest it won't be a short one either.

The 90’s biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It is a good watch if you can crack it down somewhere. Angela Bassett as Tina with Laurence Fishburn as Ike. Both fantastic performances and an emotionally charged story of her early career and being married to an abuser. Agreed, its on Disney+ at the moment.

Last night at Shirley Valentine, when Sheridan delivers the line about the mispronunciation of the word "clitoris", someone in the box closet to the stage started shouting back that she agreed with her and Sheridan completely got thrown off by it and laughed. I think she saw the funny side of it but the person seemed to take it as permission to do similar later, which thankfully went ignored. Loads of phones going off last night too, was a night for it, seemingly!

Found this an intriguing but flawed drama, with some really excellent performances (Brennan is terrific in a very challenging role) but overall felt once it reveals its secrets, didn't really know where to go next. I would have done without the Leigh character entirely (what a name Posy Sterling is, though!) and the tacked on subplot at the end was jarring.
Still, an interesting evening and worth seeing - just wish some of the ideas were fleshed out more.

I love Mark Eitzel's music but remember finding the Young Vic production a bit of a slog.

The Father and the Assassin is a weird one, I don't remember there being high demand for it at the time (I am pretty sure my ticket was discounted).

Surely it was only yesterday that the Billie Piper and Jonjo O’Neill production happened.... Oh. 11 years you say?

All of it was one of the last things I saw before we went into lockdown in 2020, it was excellent.

Saw it with a very young Andrew Garfield in 2006 at the Swiss Centre - would be up for seeing it again. Love that play.

'However, the opportunity to buy them is allocated via a game of chance that takes place in-person outside the Phoenix Theatre. There are only 10 day seats available in total, and five winners will have the chance to purchase a pair.' What is this nonsense? Just say people have to go queue up early...a game of chance? This is nuts Urgh I hate this, just let people queue like the good old days!

I caught the penultimate performance this afternoon and really enjoyed it - solid acting all round and although the tone shifts are a bit jarring, I found the last quarter rather moving. 4 stars from me.

Was at press night this evening, agree with a lot of what people have said. Everything is so broad and interesting themes are dealt with so fleetingly. There were some very enthusiastic audience members (including people laughing at literally anything the young child actor said) but curtain call was polite at best. Can't really fathom what the Donmar saw to pump money into putting this on.
