Can't you buy fake followers for small(ish) money?
That said, I just don't get Twitter.

I guess I'm an emotional wreck, but not a single song of these made me sob - or any of the others mentioned here.

God, I hope this godawful show remains buried. Saw it on Broadway a few days after opening night and had no problems getting a second row Orchestra ticket at TKTS at a 50% discount. Only went because of Rachel Tucker and she was the only good thing in this show. Well, I also quite liked the set.
I wrote a review back in the old board, but unfortunately, I didn't save it locally so it's gone now. But I do remember this: The score is terrible and bland, the main character Gideon Fletcher (played by Michael Esper) is an arrogant unlikeable a**, but the biggest problem was the show's book. Basically, it was one big (plot) hole.
I'll definitely not shed a single tear over this show's closure.

And I think School of Rock Night be facing the same problems.

If only these high priced seats guaranteed at least an impeccable audience behaviour of those around you...

I saw Rachel last week and she was incredible. Not only her singing, but her acting was perfect too I think I've said it already, but FWIW: Rachel was my first Elphie back in 2010 and I have fond memories of seeing her on the AV stage, especially her (then) last-ever show - what an amazing atmosphere it was. So naturally, I was very happy when they announced that she was taking over as Elphaba on Broadway. However, when I saw her this March (twice in two different weeks to minimise the risks of missing her because of vacations), her performance left me really underwhelmed and I was quite disappointed. Currently, I'm not planning to see Wicked in London again until February - unless they announce an Alice date that I can make.

Well that will be me staying away from Wicked again ... And I'll finally be rushing back to Wicked. Rachel returning leaves me cold, but I'm more than excited to see Willemijn again.

So I did see this yesterday. I completely forgot what an odd show LND is. I quite like the score (well, most parts of it), but the book is so terribly stupid. And the German translations didn't help, either. Actually, they made it even worse as some of them were completely out of place and way too modern for the time where LND plays.
The view from my last row Stalls seat was unobstructed but way too distant from the stage. Not sure if the Circle was open, but I only spotted a couple of empty seats in the Stalls. Not too bad for a Tuesday show, but OTOH, it's closing shortly. During the show, there was only lukewarm applause - even after Love Never Dies -, but the cast got the usual standing ovations during the bows. Apparently, this seems to be common in German shows, irrespective of how good or bad the show was.
Not sure if I saw the main actors or covers as the original lead(s?) has/have already left and the programme wasn't updated. I had a Robert Meyer as Phantom (OK, but way too young - he looked like Gustave's older brother rather than his dad) and Jazmin Gorsline as Christine (pretty good - I think she's American and this is her first show in Europe. Her German was really good). However, the boy playing Gustave was really weak, especially his singing. The kids on American and English stages are way stronger. I highly doubt we'll ever get a production of Matilda, Billy Elliot or School of Rock...

Let's just hope they announce her last show early enough. That's one show I don't want to miss.

There's also a Five Guys next to Charing Cross station in Villiers Street (close to another Herman ze German (where I haven't been, either)) which is usually less busy. I do, however, prefer the burgers from Shake Shack (there's one in Covent Garden).

And many cast members will have the usual problems with the German pronunciation.
I think I'll give it a miss and rather keep the fond memories of the La Jolla production I saw in 2014.

Hopefully a West End production will happen too, even if it is without the fantastic Andy Karl. I feel lucky to have seen him at the Old Vic. I wonder who'd they cast if they bought it back over? How about Simon Bailey? And I'd love to see Ashleigh Gray being cast as Rita.

Have they removed the cast holidays? Don't think they were announced yet. But I do hope they'll be posted soon and that they don't follow Les Mis' and Aladdin's new policies. Really want to see this cast and hope for an Alice date.

I tried. I really tried, but didn't make it through the album (yet, hopefully). It's just painful listening to Meat Loaf speak-sing through the songs and only being a caricature of his younger self.

Never have, but on a few occassions I wish I had: Hamilton, Wicked Germany (only because of their strange translation) and Bat Boy.

What a shame. Despite its - how shall I put it - odd awards, I quite like West End Frame and prefer it over WOS.
Note to myself: Find a new Theatre News website.

Which shows does Alex miss on Broadway? Are we to assume that it will follow that pattern here and those are the days our lead will make way for the alternate too? I want to book for a matinee really but have a sneaky suspicion i'd probably miss David by doing so. Ooh I didn't know that Dewey had an alternate - why's that then? Is it a particularly demanding role? It is very demanding and Dewey barely leaves the stage. Alex Brightman informally had an alternate for much of his run, and they didn't make it public until recently. (Will Blum does all three matinees.) Not sure David Fynn will be allowed to take both Matinees off though. Personally, I could see the alternate do the Thursday Evening and Saturday Matinee. But again, that's just a guess.

I do wonder what composers would be good for Bridget Jones. Laurence O'Keefe? He composed the scores for Legally Blonde and Heathers (and Bat Boy).

I am glad Lilly Allen has left the project; this needs a real musical theatre composer and lyricist. Writing cute pop songs is one thing but - as we see time and time again - pop song writers merely cannot produce strong musical theatre scores. It'd be full of half rhymes and 4 chord ballads. Um.... Cyndi Lauper? Kinky Boots' score is awful. As is Finding Neverland's. And Waitress'. I fully agree with MusicalTalk that they should get a proper theatre composer.

To honour the best stage debut in history, we should call it The Sarah Harding Theatre.
