Leicester are advertising £5 tickets on the day for 16-25, as in London! I *think* this is going to be a fixture on the whole tour. That's great that they're keeping this deal going for the tour! I'll take advantage of it a few times I think **if it's the whole tour**

Tickets go on general sale for most venues tomorrow, including Leicester if you're interested in an opening night ticket.

Wasn't a queen on a previous season stopped from doing another drag queen? I'm not convinced doing Jasmine Masters is a good idea. She wasn't funny or interesting. She was spiteful and bitchy. Couldn't wait for her to leave. Violet Chachki did Alyssa Edwards on season 7 so its definitely allowed. Jasmine is a cult favourite since the show because of her online rants on YouTube and Instagram and I personally think they're hilarious. There may be a load of casual viewers who don't know this so they may not get the 'character'. Hopefully she can pull it off!

I actually am really looking forward to seeing her Jasmine! Also, which Queen was it who fell on the runway, I couldn't make it out? It looks like Alexis to me. She's dressed in the Madonna outfit that she infamously wore while falling off the stairs at the Brits a few years ago so it's probably part of the task I hope Cynthia leaves soon, I think she's shown everything she has to offer now

What's an off stage swing compared to a swing ? Aren't all swings off the stage until they're needed ?! I thought I knew all the theatre phrases by now Haha my apologies - both on-stage & off-stage swings exist! mrmusicals explained in above much more succinctly than I was planning to in my head & that pretty much covers it! If a swing has an on-stage track (to bulk numbers as said above), it's sometimes the case that their track wouldn't be significant enough to make too much difference in case they had to step out of that track to fill in for an ensemble member. Either that, or they may have other swings to fill in for the track that belongs to the swing who is filling in for an ensemble member. If that makes sense! Then there are shows that just have their swings off-stage! Sorry for the long quote but I've no idea how to shorten it, admins delete as appropriate (or teach me how to delete lol) Well you learn something new everyday! I've never heard of a show having swings that are on stage, I thought they always sat in the back and that was it. What shows have on stage swings ?

Every show needs a piece of eye candy. Alot of the time there is at least one in the ensemble, and its handy, especially if the show is pants, you have something to watch! Ben Mundy is off-stage swing on this production though, so you'll have to choose your dates carefully otherwise you may be sorely disappointed! What's an off stage swing compared to a swing ? So is this West End show AB is lined up for confirmed then or just rumours? Suspense is killing me so I hope it don't fall through and we never find out! Just rumours as no one has posted anything credible yet

The girl named Madeleine Haynes who has been cast as Annie also played Annie on the UK Tour and she has one of the best voices I've ever heard in a little girl and was an excellent actress too so I'm happy to see her back But you only have a one in three chance of a second look at her back. And she might choose to face forwards instead in this run. I can't say I remember much about that bit you're picking at but I'll take your word for it It certainly isn't a show I'm in a mad rush to see but I'll maybe make a visit at some point over the summer

I don't really know any of the ensemble other than Ben and I agree that he is some good eye candy, how shallow of me lol

I think Nina Bonina Fofana Osama Bin Laden Brown will be Jasmine Masters (Season 7 contestant) for snatch game and if you've seen Jasmine's rants on youtube, they're HILARIOUS and Nina posts impressions of her on Instagram

Full Cast Recording is now on Spotify. I must say, its actually really strange hearing it, as the Old Vic production is suddenly flooding back all of a sudden, like everything! This needs to come back! Thanks Daniel I hadn't realised it was on Spotify, I missed the show when it was on at the Old Vic so I'm glad I can hear the songs now.

Why do you think there are more Celtic in Glasgow? With big Scottish roots in my family, it was always thought more Rangers. Just wondered why you thought otherwise? www.talkceltic.net/forums/threads/is-there-more-celtic-or-rangers-fans-in-glasgow.94275/
Asked Google. Brought up above Celtic forum. Only read the first page but about half think more 'huns' (whoever they are?) and the other half think 50/50.
Even still, you are overplaying the togger aspect
A 'Hun' is an extremely derogatory word for a Rangers fan or more so a protestant so its a very touchy word to use and probably shouldn't be repeated lol I know its a term of endearment in England though

I'd have to strongly disagree about Rangers out numbering Celtic in Glasgow. Celtic have, of course, the Irish Catholic community AND the left wing which combined is a mighty obstacle to a returned no vote. Why do you think there are more Celtic in Glasgow? With big Scottish roots in my family, it was always thought more Rangers. Just wondered why you thought otherwise? I support Rangers and I am well clued up about the whole rangers/celtic situation and even I would say Celtic have more supporters than Rangers. Something as trivial as Celtic and Rangers wont change the outcome of the election or influence the votes too much, especially when it comes to a general election. A referendum on the other hand...

I spent about 10 minutes there on the train home going through all the 'long running' west end shows and can't think of any other roles other than ones that have already been suggested. I hope it happens and we are all surprised as I am stumped so far.
Back on topic, has the 2nd cover (or 1st if you don't include the alternate as 1st) been on as Deloris yet ?

Lola in Kinky Boots. She'd be amazing. Yes!!! She would slay that role to be honest, only problem is the Simon from Clapton bits

I think that's a role she would be good at! But the speculation surrounds someone saying a few pages ago that she's in talks to play a role that's never been played be someone like her before e.g playing a role typically played by a white person such as Glinda/Miss Honey etc

The original production of Sister Act at The Palladium had some slick technical movement of the set and fixtures. The transition from the outside of the church to the inside then to the nightclub/police station was some of the best I've seen.
The large pillars would rotate and swivel and then move around the revolve to 'reveal' the inside.

This is the best announcement for a while! I saw this in New York and worried it would get forgotten about over here, the Young Vic is the perfect theatre for it

Well there ya go people... almost $1 Billion in the box office, will hit it by the weekend. Disney has another one in that Top 30 ever list! jeeeez! that's a heck of a lot, I knew it would do well but didn't expect that much money to be taken at the box office. Do we think the next one will get this much money ? I think Aladdin and Lion King are the next ones getting the modern treatment.

Very happy about Sooha getting cast as Kim, I saw her in London and much preferred her to Tanya who alternated the role! A few names in that cast I recognise, a shame I need to wait until next year to see it

I wanna be on the Cynthia band wagon, but I am just not. She is so annoying and she was brought bsck for (in my opinon!) nk reason. She competed last time and lost fair and square. Her illness didn't develop until after. I agree with you Daniel, she is funny with some random quotes she comes out with, especially when she tried to explain an adjective to Kimora. But her constant CUCU crap is wearing thin I think they only brought her back for the storyline with the cancer and Pulse nightclub which I hate to say as I'm not usually a cynic.

On Broadway, they have a tradition where on the opening night of a show, they give a 'gypsy robe' to the member of the ensemble with the most ensemble Broadway credits (I'm not too sure the origins of this). The robe is covered in logos of other Broadway shows and the ceremony always seems to be hosted by the same man and often the last recipient of the robe is there too (I'm sure he is probably someone important but I've never managed to work out who he is).
My main point though is, does the West End in London do the same or have an equivalent ? Are there any traditions that happen on opening night of a show ? Or any traditions/ceremonies that happen at any other point of a shows' run ?

Aja's make up isn't good for the TV. I know she has rough skin due to an accident when she was younger but I still expect better from someone who is very popular outwith the show! She looks flawless on Instagram but I think that's because she has a filter. She SLAYED the lip-sync though!
I think it should have been Farrah in the bottom 2 along with Kimora but that would have been a boring lip sync and may have sent Farrah home who has a huge fan-base. So I think they picked Aja because they knew she would send home Kimora who, she may be stunning, doesn't seem to be able to do much else.
After week 3, Nina and Shea are still my favourites, and Valentina is starting to grow on me.

I love the Theatre Royal! I love it's big open grand foyer.
I felt incredibly cramped waiting to go into see Miss Saigon at the Prince Edward. I had to squeeze through everyone in a crammed room to get to the desk with the programmes!
