Great news. I adored this at the Menier, it's such a feel-good delightful show with some cracking tunes. I'm sure the Crucible will do it proud. I assume this will be following A Chorus Line which I've already booked. I first saw She Loves Me with John Gordon Sinclair in London about 30 years ago. The Evening Standard or News offered tickets for this and also A Slice of Saturday Night @ £1. Queued ages but got both. Loved both shows ever since. I also love this show - looks like I’ll have to take a trip up North to see it! I also saw the Savoy production with John Gordon Sinclair and Ruthie Henshall and have been entranced by She Loves Me ever since. There was a cracking production at Chichester a few years ago as well as the wonderful MCF production. Can’t wait to find out who’s cast in the Sheffield production.

Great news! Is there a phone number for LW Theatres customer service team? Thanks I couldn’t find any phone numbers so used the ‘contact us’ email process which was very speedy and effective. Great - thanks for your advice!

I’m now all set with my reallocated seats for next Wednesday matinee… can’t fault the LW Theatres customer services team actually as there was a slight issue with where my booking details had been emailed too (apparently because I had used Apple Pay) which meant I never reveal confirmation but they eventually found it and all was fine. It was finally resolved at quarter past midnight last night… two thumbs up for effort! Excited to see the show now 🤩 Great news! Is there a phone number for LW Theatres customer service team? Thanks

There don’t seem to be many single seats in the new seating plan... Still waiting for matinee on 17th - fingers still crossed! I only looked at the stalls as that's where I am currently due to sit but you are right only 3 or 4 single seats so its not looking good We’ll have to form theatreboard bubbles !!

Just had a series of e mails from LWT regarding my Joseph booking for Friday. A bit confusing at first as had an e mail saying they were looking forward to seeing me on Thursday!!!! then a 2nd one to say the performance was cancelled and a credit voucher. Finally a third one saying that the first one had been sent in error. Also as I have 2 bookings I had to try and work out which one they were talking about as there was no performance date on the e mail - anyway got there in the end. It seems that they are just cancelling the booking and, rather than move to an alternative date, they have given me a credit voucher for the value of the booking to use and book another performance. There is also a special link to the website meaning that we can book another date at the preview price and not the normal price. I think that's pretty fair and seems the easiest solution. It looks as if the voucher can only be used to book Joseph but there is a link to a form if you want a refund. I would have preferred if the voucher could have been used for any LWT show as I was going to book for Back To The Future but if I get a refund I can still book and use that money, so no hardship really. I am now waiting to see what happens to my 2nd booking which will also be affected as its now a socially distanced performance. But this is the performance I really want to see. Same here. We’ve got both of the shows on the 17th booked- I don’t mind where we sit I just want to be there! Me too! Would love to be there 17th for such a special atmosphere and show!

I saw her in Me and My Girl 1000 years ago and have been a fan ever since! Hahaha same! ANDREW O’Connor? What ever happened to him?!!! I think he went into the producing side if I remember rightly, but not sure. He was excellent in it too. I still have the brochure!

How is Rebecca Thornhill in this? One of my favourite performers.

Could be - although 17 July initially showed as sold out and has now disappeared. I’ll keep my fingers crossed I don’t have to revert to a Plan B for that day!

Looks like the run is now starting on Tuesday 20 July and Linzi’s first show is the matinee on Wednesday 18 August - these are the latest dates on LW Theatres website at least. Still closing on 5 September with extra matinees added throughout.

Oh fingers crossed for matinee on 17 July too! I’ll be gutted if I can’t get to Linzi’s first show!

I’m praying to the theatre gods that Joseph is also a test event as it has already been proven that the Palladium is safe (albeit with socially distanced events). I see that performances are now off sale until 21 July - I’m keeping fingers crossed that they’ll be able to run the first few weeks at reduced capacity but it will be a logistical nightmare to reseat everyone socially distanced (and move others to other dates). I think Hairspray did rebookings successfully when a similar thing happened so it’s not impossible. I need some Joseph in my life!

Controversially I'd say it's not worth it (and I say this as a huge fan) - he does more talking than singing, imaginary conversations with his off-screen daughter, songs interrupted with anecdotal memories... he's still an utter dreamboat but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. There aren't many full songs and we've heard most of them before anyway. Edit - I should add, it's a love letter to his daughter, and in that sense it's lovely. It's just not what I'd want or expect from 'a Jeremy Jordan concert'. Thanks for that - I think I’ll give Jeremy a miss this time. Pleased to report that Marilyn Maye stream is excellent - thoroughly recommend (especially for those who like Jerry Herman).

Thanks for the update - I’ve added those dates to my list of shows to see (despite it being 2022!). Something to look forward to.

I’m tempted by the 54 Below stream but it’s not cheap and I’ve also just bought the Marilyn Maye stream to watch on demand! What numbers does Jeremy sing?

We’ve booked evening. But may well book matinee as well at some point. I’ll wear my TheatreBoard badge 🙂 Well, we lasted less than an hour. We’ve booked 17th matinee to go alongside our evening, and then 4th September matinee which is Linzi’s last show. I need to not buy any more ticket for this! Anyone else loving the buzz of casting info and getting tickets? Small steps towards normal life 🙂 I’m loving the casting info and the buzz of booking again - will be my first West End show back! And yes, I’m tempted to also book Linzi’s final show on 4 September matinee but we’ll see!

Kathryn Evans was indeed sensational. A great pity she’s no longer in the business.

This thread has inspired me to go through my own poster collection - I have almost 20 framed posters and many more that need framing. I’ve been going through the unframed posters measuring them up - I hadn’t realised that posters for shows like 42nd Street and Half a Sixpence were larger than the usual size. I’m probably going to order some frames online - unfortunately most of the posters are larger than the Dress Circle frames so I won’t be able to support them. Anyone have any recommendations for an online frame supplier?
Peter - I love your Instagram account, some fabulous posters on there.
I need to put my leaflets in order as my next job - quite a task! I will need to sell some off I think to try to create more living space! Don’t mention the programmes!!

No luck here either. Latest message states that they’re processing refunds in chronological order of performance. As I’d booked for early July, that doesn’t sound like anytime soon. Not sure what to do next...

I watched it online a second time yesterday, having also seen it in Chichester. I’m always underwhelmed by the music in this, whereas the performances are first class. Some big numbers would have been more uplifting maybe. However when I watched yesterday on laptop and using earphones (!), it came across as more of a chamber piece and I actually think it might have been better in the Minerva.

I don't believe it. An hour holding on, finally got through and then cut off mid sentence to a person, just as I was giving her my details. Now what? Funny how we were both cut off isn’t it? Anyone would think they don’t want to process refunds...

I’ve just had it - it confirms my voucher number and redemption code for more ATG tickets! Further to previous post, I eventually got through to a more helpful assistant on the phone yesterday who didn’t hang up on me! He said he would process a refund but nothing showing on my credit card account, unlike the lucky board members above! And now this email ... not boding well!

I’m shocked. Got through on the phone to ATG this morning and asked for a refund. Was told that a decision was going to be made in a few hours time as to whether everybody would get an automatic refund. When I insisted that friends had already contacted them and received a refund, I was told that he would need to check procedure on this with a colleague. I agreed to this and then ATG ended the call. Never had such disgraceful service in 30 years of buying theatre tickets.

Totally relate to what Dom says about not feeling the same sense of totally unparalleled excitement now I’m in my 40s as to when I was seeing shows as a teenager or in my 20s. Yes the anticipation beforehand and reflection afterwards was incredible! I wish I could get that all back!!
Also empathise with what Scswp says about seeing Betty Buckley in Sunset Boulevard and hearing about the American stars through Dress Circle. The world certainly did seem a bigger place in those youthful days!
My happiest West End theatre memories were the first shows I saw...Miss Saigon at Drury Lane, Betty in Sunset and the exquisite She Loves Me at the Savoy. Happy memories!
