Agreed, I like her and thoroughly enjoyed her performance in the Palladium panto.

Not again .... sorry, not a fan of Sister Act. Rather this than Dirty Dancing and Grease on rotation until the end of time.

Such an amazing scheme although I am not sure why more shows/theatres didn't make reference to it on social media with clear directions on how to book your tickets (our local atg theatre did).
You'd want people to use their vouchers with you and not the "competition".

Despite it being mentioned several times and them performing, I don't think I am any clearer what Tammy Faye is.

Can anyone tell me how much the programme costs if you buy it at the theatre? It's £5.50 if you pre-buy it online when you book your ticket, so just wondering how much you save. They are £6 in the venue

Dean Gaffney is playing the Prince alongside Kerry Katona in the Easter panto tour of Rapunzel until June. Why do I know this?!
"Barry" would actually be a great shout though.

And Jess Aubrey made her Nessa debut. That I would have loved to see. I am a big fan of hers since seeing her on the Bedknobs and Broomsticks tour.

Plenty of people loved her first time around.
You have to remember that she took over from Kerry Ellis twice: when she went to Broadway and also when she later left the London production.
These were the years I would describe as peak Wicked London hysteria and Alexia could never win in some people's eyes; essentially just because she was not Kerry Ellis!

I know nothing about this group apart from "My Girl" but I've booked to see it next month and am really looking forward to it; primarily to see Tosh Wanogho-Maud.
A very talented guy indeed.

I hate the upper level ladies toilets in the Duke of York's theatre. I am not sure if they are the same elsewhere in the venue. Double opening doors with a strange hook thing to close them in the middle. Any larger lady just is not going to be able to get in there. The layout of the bins, dryers is also all wrong and you just cannot move.

Not much buzz about this show on here yet.
It's opening night tonight, is from the forum there?

Yes, great to see Sam and Faye reuniting.
I was not planning to see the recent London production but read a post on the forum about the front row £15 stalls seats and took a chance. I fell absolutely head over (tap) heels with it and went back to see it many times.
I hope this new production inspires and wows me like that one did.

I feel very worried for that guy's partner. I bet she had an awful rest of an evening.

I eventually saw it last Sunday and, yes, I only booked it because of Cheryl.
I enjoyed it and thought she was great.

It seems to be getting a bit crazy for a lot of shows right now. Social media certainly doesn't help. It has turned it into a bit of a competition to who can see the show the most times and also folks being the self proclaimed number one fan of one of the cast, extra top fan points if it is a cover and if you have set up a twitter fan page for them.
I am sure shows appreciate the support but there is a fine line between being supporting and being annoying, as we saw recently at the & Juliet final show!

So sorry for your loss.
I am not sure it gets any easier. You never forget. You just somehow learn to carry on as best you can as, clichéd as it is, that is what they would want you to do.

I can see it doing really well on tour but I don't envy the casting team to try and find a cast that matches up to the incredible bunch we have known and loved in London.

From what I am reading on Twitter the behaviour at Stage Doors seems to be getting worse.
Bonnie and Clyde now have a sign up reminding patrons to be polite, which is depressing that it even needs to be said.

The toilets were broken at cast change and the smell of them from my seat was disgusting. Many were complaining about it.
For the problem to still not be fixed several weeks later really is not good enough!
Likewise, the poor sound issues have been highlighted on here for a long time. This really is not good enough either.

Theatre is certainly subjective... Miriam can't sing indeed... I think she has a wonderful voice. I really enjoyed her performance tonight and that of the entire cast.
The screaming banshees near me not so much... yes it is cast change and there is going to be standing ovations and cheating after every thing but some near me were just being ridiculous and incredibly annoying.
but this show will be hugely missed.

In theory, yes, but in reality that just doesn't happen. Very rarely would a performer say they are 100% and a show would not accept people calling just because they felt they weren't at the very top of their game.
So long as you don't have a bad injury, lost your voice etc you go on. You just need to be able to give ENOUGH.

The sentimental men podcast with Lucie and Talia has been removed and all teaser clips are gone from social media. I wonder if they said something they shouldn’t have? I listened to most of it and didn’t pick up on anything controversial. Maybe the bit about Lucie’s company manager telling her she’s good enough to go on even when she cannot give 100%. What a load of drama about something that seemed pretty innocuous.

Plenty of Glinda's have tried to do something different over the years but they have basically been told to stop it by the American Production team. They are... limited! (sorry )
