I serve a lot of different people in my shop. This afternoon had Jenny Eclair walk up to the counter. I said 'Hello'then did a cough. She looked up at me 'Do you have a cough?'. Depends what you sell, Kim_Bahorel. Wrapped packets of washing powder, fine. Open display of sandwich fillings, not so much, really... Stationery & Cards she was eyeing up the pens before I coughed

She turned around and walked out. I just stood there, a customer just stood there looking at me didn't quite know what to do. Concidering she was getting on a train with lots of coughing people seemed a little extreme plus I could have got someone else to serve her.

I will watch it when it comes out on DVD. The TV Film/Mini Series was the first horror thing I ever watched, I was 11. It scared the life out of me. I became scared of clowns, balloons, blood, bathrooms & any thing with fangs - instantly!! I only actually watched all the way through about 12 years ago.

I was going to say something about the water bottle thing but people have already have done. As someone who always has a bottle of water at shows. I always buy a Evian if I can because it's least noisy. However at Queens (because I go there a lot) they sells these REALLY noisy bottles. I assume other venues sell the same brand.

Ewwww this woman sat next to me (slip seats) at Mis tonight and took her shoes off!! She didn't even have socks on! She sat at an angle so her feet where inches away from my shoes. Not going to lie I was trying my hardest to step on her toes! If you read this page eeewww who does that?! I hope you didn't need to deploy a clothes peg or gas mask. Did you score any hits with the attempted toe-steppage? Sadly no, I think it got to the point I was moving my feet to much she must have moved hers. I couldn't see a thing once the lights go down.

Today at Les Mis a family sat in the back row of Upper circle and talked ALL the way through the first act. At any point the father was leaning over and talking - during Fantines death during JVJ solos, during Danny Whitehead making his Enjolras debut 😠!!! A group on the other side asked at the interval if it was the ones in front of me talking as they could hear them as well. They just couldn't keep their faces shut for 1 1/2 hours. I haven't had anything quite like that for a while.

Is this the full cast? I don't know the musical to know how many cast there would be. I always assume in West End or West End shows that they have someone to cover roles.

Well put together doc, glad it shows what a rude control freak he often is. Don't know why anyone would direct for him, he clearly wants that job for himself. I didn't watch the show not even for curiousity sake. But I was told CamMac is very 'hands on' with productions and 'particular' about I guess everything in shows he produces. To be honest it sounds more like he is directing the things or has no trust in directors or actors to convey the piece. I was asked several times in a conversation with an actor which CM had just been to the production the night before. I told them I loved the performance esp one character they did it was funny it was great. They asked me twice in the course of this conversation if I like their performance and thought it was okay. There was very strong emphasis on them saying 'but YOU like it thought?' I was like okay!!

I had to block a woman about a year ago on twitter. She really began to creep me out. I am now on her hit list of people she hates and she goes around telling people I am a horrible person because I blocked her. She has a vengeful obsession with one young woman. It's got to the point of where your seriously worried about her going from what she posts online to it transfering into the real world. Scary stuff.

Les Mis only to find out when people are off so I can see covers. And also how they go about working the show when too many people are off for swings to cover. I have seen many cut shows but but curious to how dance & asst dance captian figure it all out. My wierdest thing I do is if there is a cut show try to figure out which parts will be done and by who.

just had a good laugh - upcoming Christine Kelly has already a fan account created by a fan who has yet to see her live I did the same not with a Phantom fan account but a Les Mis one. He seemed nice in all the rehearsal gossip we found out. I now have his boyfriend, his mum I think and varous relatives he has following it 😂. He was a swing last year but saw everything he covered in the show.

Seriously I clicked on a random day in Feb that wasn't weekend or Friday and the best I got was row A stall for £25. I can't find any £15 tickets at all. I feel so confused. I believe someone has said previously on this thread that the £15 front row tickets are only during previews, after press night the front row goes up to £25 ohhhh I see so Row A is front row. Right thank you.

Every single date I randomly click says the front row is unavailable how are you guys getting the £15 tickets front row? Is it a special online deal thing? Or has the front row already sold out?

No day seats unfortunately. Standing places £12.50, or TKTS if you're lucky. Thank you. Where is the standing section? Sounds a bargain anyone stood there before? Do you miss much and any idea how many places they allocate? Thank you The standing is back of each seating level. Upper circle your view has no obstructions but you are the far away from the stage. You also have a leaning post great if you need something to lean on. Dress is much closer but you are on the same level as the back seat row. If you are short like meecan be difficult to find a spot to stand first and not have someone tall.sit right in front of you. You miss a bit of the barricade stuff. Stalls you can see the stage clearly however you miss all of the top of the barricade and even bending down wont resolve it. For the Upper and Dress its 12 places each I think. For the stalls it's only 6. Stalls I think is the only standing places the Queens box office will sell if the show is sold out. I get my standing from TKTS now.

I remember when I went to see Clockwork Orange and this really old man fell asleep and snored through most of it and coughed loudly as he woke up.

Who is Zowie Cavie? I think Joreen Bautista was Kim for the evening show. It would have only been her or Aynrand (who did the matinee). If you're being serious... Taffy was a character in the utterly brilliant cartoon Captain Caveman and she would regularly screech "zowie Cavey" having just come up with a plan! I suspect it was Joreen I saw, simply because she did look really young. I was serious I have never heard of it or the cartoon in my life. Joreen looks like she is about 12 but she has a really good voice.

Joreen did both shows on Saturday I heard as both the main Kim and the guy who plays Chris were off. Joreen is apparently only 17 and this is her first stage role so is another great find by Cameron Mac and co. Aynrand did the matinee on the 5th Aug. It was her debut.

It was my 4th time ever seeing the show last night. Saw it 3 times in Leicester. For half the week Vinny Coyle has been on as Chris. I was amazing lucky to have booked my ticket months ago only to have the actor I went to go see in it, cover as Chris. I have seen everything he did in Les Mis but he didn't cover a lead so never got to hear him sing. But holy wow this that boy amazing. He has this amazing powerful voice. His Why God Why wow. It was much better than the three times I have heard Ashley. I also got to see the debut of Aynrand Farrer as Kim. She was really good as well. I liked Joreen who is the alternate but prefered Aynrand.

I have to rant about this because it really annoyed me. At Stage Door of Miss Saigon (on Broadway) last night the little boy who played Tam was coming out with his parents. I've heard that sometimes he/she will come out with a sharpie and sign everyone's Playbills but this time he just walked past quickly because he was on tomorrow according to his parents. But that didn't stop all these crazy fans going "aww Tam so cuuuuteee, awwww take a picture awwww" and his mum kept politely saying "he's got a show tomorrow so..." I don't think I'd have been as polite if he were my child! The poor kid was probably about 6 and probably exhausted, what is their problem! 🙄 While I'll go to SD for casts, I never ask the kids in shows to sign anything. I remember one time being at Les Mis and the Gavroche that was on left the SD. We were all like 'awww its Gavroche' then chatted to ourselves that he was very good. He was standing around with his mum. As he left he said bye to us. We were alll 'awwwww'. But that was it.

Luke has a fantastic voice, but is an extremely average actor. For some reason anyone who has been in Les Mis gets this extra excitement and aura about them. Give me Scott Davies any day. Luke sounds fantastic but his Phantom is as placid in the Final Lair as he is when he appears behind the mirror in his first scene. Pretty on the ear, but on the eye and heart? I like him.

I go to shows more than once if I really like it I can end up seeing it 6 plus times. With this in mind I do have a tendency to laugh at funny things but sometimes I do it before its even happened. I had to physically put my hand over my mouth to stop myself laughing during one scene of Clockwork Orange.

Only the alternate Valjean has a set day.
But when Hayden was last at Mis he was off ill a fair few times and one of them I remember because I got Lee as Javert who I loved as Javert.

Just come home from tonights Les Mis show and the Understudy for Javert was honestly the most incredible Javert I've ever seen in my entire life! His acting was just absolutely amazing! His name is Shaq Taylor so be sure to watch out for him! I can't wait to see Shaq as Javert. That first moment I saw him onstage as Prouvaire / ensemble I was like... oh he is going to be an amazing Javert. Hoping he is still on on Monday when I go.
