I'm sorry to start another of these threads, as i know they can be quite annoying, but i'd love the input of the board! I'm in New York from April 29th - May 4th, and have currently booked to see Mean Girls, Frozen & Dear Evan Hansen. That leaves me with Monday Night & Thursday free. From what I can see, on Monday my only options are Once On This Island, Puffs or Skivvies at Joes Pub, id love to know which people rate or if anyone has any other suggestions? And then on Thursday i *think* i'm deciding between Spongebob, Come From Away & My Fair Lady. I *think* i'm swaying more towards Spongebob, as CFA has an Irish production planned, so will probably come to London or i could see it there, and i'm sure they'll be another production of MFL i can see eventually, whereas Spongebob is probably not going to come to the UK or last much longer (plus i love Tina Landau's work...) But again, i'd love to take some advice or hear other options? It's also my first solo trip, so if anyone has any other suggestions of fun things to do before/after shows let me know! I expect i'll mostly be in HK boy watching, or propping up the Piano in Maries Crisis. (also im in Vancouver the week before and Orlado the week after, so if anyone has tips for those places also plz let me know!) Thanks

I was in B2 last night, which is a bargain £10 seat with amazing sight lines for this production - in case it's free at any other point

Is there a fairy godmother type role in Snow White? Can see the lovely Jane McDonald as a possible target, especially after Elaine did so well in her pants debut. Would hope for an A-team panto with Paul O'Grady and Bradley Walsh involved - give Julian a year off and have him back for Jack & the Beanstalk in 2019/20. PLEASE DON'T GET MY HOPES UP

I saw it last night and it is effing amazing. I'm so glad i went in early and knew nothing about it - my advise is to book a ticket now, and stop reading this thread, come back once you've seen it but go in blind. It's worth it.

can anyone see where on the site they'll be on sale? Usually for an on sale they'd have a show page by now, but there doesn't seem to be one for heathers yet? to answer my own question it looks like they'll be here: www.theotherpalace.co.uk/whats-on/heathers-the-musical the page isn't live yet, but i just got an email pushing me towards it (which is really bad practice, the page should be live if you're going to send an email linking to it!)

Any chance you could share where/how you watched? Apparently the whole show was available on youtube (unless it's been taken down by now) There are lots of clips etc but i cant seem to find the whole thing

I've managed to watch it. Overall, I thought it was really good - strong cast, loved the staging - the end shot is stunning! The only weak link for me was John Legend. He has a great voice, but was let down by his acting. Everyone else was so strong that his weakness stood out. Any chance you could share where/how you watched?

A friend of a friend was writing this, i cant remember if he was doing music or lyrics or book or an amalgamation - but he passed away last year so im unsure how they'd edit what he'd already done to bring it up to scratch...

Thanks for the heads up! Just booked a cheeky preview bargain - i wonder if it'll be the same cast for the London & New York productions?

I will admit, I'm more enthusiastic than I was yesterday, thanks to the photos I've seen that heavily feature crows (one of my favourite birds) and the fact it's (probably) coming to Oxford, which is a nice little trip for me. ooh where are you seeing these images? I can't see anything on the complicite production page?

The is only on one of my regular papering sites, and for a very small number of tickets for tomorrow evening - where else has it been? I'd love to catch it, but not at the regular inflated prices!

From the title alone, it doesnt feel like a Young Vic show?

I just looked at prices for the Coliseum. How come it's more expensive than Chess? Is it because it's fully staged? It's not an ENO production so they don't set the prices - it'll be that high because Opera North wanted it to be.

That is so cool that you were there QueerTheatre ! Can you tell us about the event? So you watched the show and then they did the interview right after it? I only saw act 2, but yeh that was basically it. the whole discussion is in that video so it was pretty short, and while the entire audience were invited to/allowed to stay behind and watch the chat id estimate that only around 60 people did. I worked at a theatre down the road, and our show was much shorter, so we would often pop along to the savoy and get a bottle of wine, and dance along at the back. This night we knew LBB was in attendance, and having seen her on Broadway also it was a treat to see them discuss roles. It was back in my stagedooring days too and both of them came out and signed and posed for photos individually. Sheridan in particular was very sweet and stopped and chatted with me and my pals for quite sometime.

oh wow - did we see the same show? I was bored stiff. Alexander gives a lovely pre curtain speech promising us wonders and magic, and what we got was a slow dull show with dodgy set changes, and a cast that don't know their lines yet (obviously this is a preview so that's to be expected) but still... gosh it was dull.

It makes my dream of a muppet stage musical come a little true however I don't think will be seeing this a s the tickets are a bit too high, but I do love the muppets so I might change my opinion.i did watch the promo video if Kermit and Miss Piggy and if I'm honest Kermit sounded like he and a frog in his throat and it didn't sound like the Kermit I know. I was looking for prices but couldn't find any - would you mind linking me? Thanks

I kinda don't get the obsession with the Ice Castle if im honest? Sure - if they found some amazing and innovative way of building one, id be interested to see that, but its Michael Grandage. We knew this wasn't going to be an innovative staging. Its a story about 2 sisters, and their relationship - if he manages to capture that, im happy, I mean no one watches Frozen the movie and comes away just raving about the castle? Plus its broadway, we know its gonna look expensive AF and have some neat tricks, with or without a castle.

I got an email telling me about the new front row, but saying i could swap my row A seat, to what i'm presuming will be called Row AA if i wished - for those who've seen this now (or know the usual RC set up for extra seats) should i stay in A or move to AA?
Its nearly 3am as i type this and i now have no idea if what ive typed even makes sense. Sorry.

How is the Front Row at the Arts, i've only sat there for Murder Ballad which was super raised up off the regular stage apparently?
