Do you think that they are going to release the front row seats for the January performances, or keep them as day seats? Somehow I think they won’t be released online. They’ve already missed releasing the last part of December. Do you think it will he saved for Day Seats?

If anyone else is looking to book for performances in the week the Official London Theatre NY sale has the £69.50 stalls seats for £40! Not great seats though. You’re better off doing the rush on TodayTix or waiting till the £25 tickets are released through the official website.

Saw Part 1 yesterday and thought it was incredible. Sat in Royal Circle B4 and the view was excellent for only £25. A few seats free, front row of Royal Circle had 4 free seats, I think the high prices in the centre are putting people off with it being a 2 part play.
Seeing Part 2 on Friday and thinking of stage dooring, has anyone had any experiences doing it for this play at Noel Coward?

Yes, they quietly discount seats a day or so before the performance. I’ve grabbed £20 stall seats (row D) day of the show and they’ve been wonderful (and how I’ve managed to see it 8 times). is that when selecting seats for both parts together, or separately? They do it for both. I've seen £40 stall seats for both parts and £20 stall seats if you choose to only see 1 part in great seats that would normally be £140 / £70. Currently £40 Dress Circle seats for Thursday / Friday this week up.

Go check Nimax now! There's £40 stalls seats (which are in good seats) for tomorrow and Friday's show. Thanks, I never thought to just check last minute, unfortunately I cant go anytime before Christmas, however I checked for Saturday this week and there are some excellent premium seats available! so that's my plan now to check in Jan on a daily basis as I hope that some people will cancel last minute as they need to money following a costly Christmas...hehe They only discount prices last minute for the weekday shows, I guess demand is still good for the weekends but definitely check on Tuesdays/Wednesdays for the following days performances! They've been reducing prices to £40 since the end of August now.

I really want to see this now (having had to cancel my booking for April due to workload) but it really drives me mad that you cant select your own seat and see whats available. Even the premium seats at £99.50 are in poor locations and I'm looking as far as Jan 2019! Go check Nimax now! There's £40 stalls seats (which are in good seats) for tomorrow and Friday's show.

Looks like they're struggling to sell seats for the Wednesday-Friday shows.
Both last week and this week, they've reduced tickets from £140 to £40. There are currently a few £40 seats for tomorrow's show available on the website.

Live filming signs on the doors and around the theatre for tonight! Might just be for archive or promo if it ever goes on tour. But would be wonderful if for DVD or TV I'm sure I read on Twitter that a DVD was being released at the end of the year.

I mean, wow. If I wasn't already seeing Follies on the 1st I'd so take up this opportunity. My immediate thought though was that whilst theres 10 times as many tickets, all this publicity about it is surely to get non-regular triers into the mix at possibly 10 times the demand? I never have Friday 40'd it, I'm not sure if this is the moment to try... Honestly, try the Friday Forty every week, I've managed to win 5 times now.. This 400 tickets thing is a good idea, but just wondering where the seats are, surely they're not going to sell tickets up in the balcony and then seats in stalls all for £40..

I just want to say thank you to all on this thread! I went yesterday to the box office around 10am. Went in and they offered me a ticket for 140 pounds. I turned it down saying if I could wait for cheaper tickets. They said I could wait outside and they'd let me know if anything became available. Around 12:30 they came outside and offered me tickets for both parts for 40 pounds! Seats were incredible too...I sat in stalls F21. I was also the first person in line. A few minutes after another guy showed up. We both got tickets right next to each other. Nobody else was in line. Just want to say thank you, Otherwise I would never have gotten this incredible opportunity. Are they struggling to sell tickets or something? F21 for £40 is ridiculously cheap.

Most of them are great. Annabel as Delphi, James as Draco and Samuel as Scorpius are the true highlights. Wasn't a fan of the new Albus and Ginny though (compared to Sam and Poppy).

Peggs wouldn't let me post a picture of us on Facebook until the cast actually appreared! She was so sure something would go wrong! Well some of us were on our first and only visit and very anxious! I just didn't want to tempt anything. What did you guys think of the acting? I read that Theo came across very nervous yesterday (which is understandable).

The new Draco was on as the understudy to the role when I saw it in December. I thought he was great in the part, so pleased to see he's doing the role full time now. Was he good at the comedy? He looks quite scary in those pics. He's not as comedic as Alex Price was, however, he was still fantastic as Draco and I'm not surprised they upped him to full time this year.

My guess is, most of the people that are willing to spend £200 have already spent that money and seen the play. I really think they need to change the price of the premium seats. £250 for weekend shows is a bit ridiculous. It should go back to £199 (or £190 like it was last year). And £199 or £190 isn't ridiculous? Considering it's £140 for Band A, I think £50 more for "premium" isn't that ridiculous . However, £110 more is.

I'm surprised there are so many tickets available for April on website. Is this a slow period? I'm hoping that this will continue and I will be able to get more convenient tickets in July and can return my Aug 2nd tickets. I will continue to check frequently and then possibly spend morning for day I really want in the returns line. But if worse comes to worse I still have my original tickets My guess is, most of the people that are willing to spend £200 have already spent that money and seen the play. I really think they need to change the price of the premium seats. £250 for weekend shows is a bit ridiculous. It should go back to £199 (or £190 like it was last year).

Yes, I paid 90 for Both parts, and it was indeed a Bargain! What a view! That's amazing, did you have to negotiate or did he just offer them at £90? I'm shocked because Row AA is normally worth £130. Regarding Friday Forty, I know a few people on Twitter went to the box office last Friday after realising it crashed and they said every single Row AA seat was available, but for full price (£130). So I guess if it glitches again next time and you're willing to pay full price, the box office will have tickets. I also check Nimax a lot and Row BB for this Saturday came up for £140 a few days ago too so I guess if they don't sell them at the box office, they will put them online. It's a bit unfair, I think they should have just tweeted something saying it failed and just ran it again at a different time.

Got in late, 9am. Four people in the queue, by 10:30 there were 9 people. I got AA tickets around this time, 90 pounds, didnt have other options and I trust the man at the box Office that It was worthy and "a bargain". So, let me finally see this show. Yay! £90 total or per part? Hope you enjoy the show! I'm also wondering this. If you paid £90 for both, then that really is a bargain!

I'll be in London in a few weeks to see Angels in America and might buy one of the premium tickets to see The Cursed Child as well. I'm a bit worried, though, since I'm not the biggest Potterhead around and was a bit skeptical about seeing a play about Harry Potter. But since they won so many Olivier Awards I'm tempted to go and see it. So I was wondering whether the play is also enjoyable for general theatre goers who aren't too crazy about the Potter universe? You definitely don't have to Potter crazy to watch it. You definitely need to have watched all the movies / read all the books to understand it.

Just managed to get a cancelled ticket for Wednesday. There's so little time to prepare So happy to be seeing it with the original cast after the disappointment of finding out I'd be missing them with my ticket for July. Does anyone know if there is any cast absences at the minute? I'm really hoping they're all there. The entire cast performed on Saturday (zero understudies!). Obviously, due to the Olivier awards, Anthony, Noma and Jamie did not perform on Sunday. However, I don't think there should be any cast absences for Wednesday, not for the main characters anyway.

They showed clips of the play at the Olivier Awards last night, so looks like it's been filmed with the original cast!

Being very naiive and simple, but where is the returns queue? And what time does it open? Thank you all! Desperate for tickets on 19th. It's right by the box office which is towards the left side of the theatre. There's a "Return Queue" sign post so it's not hard to miss It opens at 10am but it's best to get there a few hours earlier.

I doubt it. The open casting call was for every single character when they were doing auditions last month.

Yesterday and Thursday was the 4th time I've seen the play and my 1st time seeing Tom as Albus, I don't know if I am just really used to Sam Clemmett but I thought Sam was a lot better than how Tom played him. Just my opinion - he was extremely lovely at stage door after, spoke to the fans for a long time asking them a lot of questions! Apparently, yesterday was his last ever portrayal as Albus (unless he stays after cast change). Sam is back this weekend and James is Scorpius this weekend too.

Woah, I do think it's unfair that they've upped the weekend premium seats prices to £250 in the last few weeks. And completely agree that it's very easy to get tickets for the show if you're willing to spend a lot of money for it. I managed to win Friday Forty tickets today for the 2nd time - I'm sitting in G28 and hoping my view isn't too restricted, I'm excited to see Tom as Albus but can't really see anyone being better than Sam tbh. Ooo is Sam off at the minute then? Will it be Tom tomorrow too? Yep, Sam is currently in NYC

I lost my mind a bit today and ended up getting the £250 tickets for this Sunday. I just found myself there on the booking page, popped in the card details, vomited a little bit and then slapped myself around for nearly spending more on one booking than the rest of the year's theatre combined... On a serious note, it really is very easy to get tickets for this if you can be flexible on the pricing. In the hour I was checking the website at lunch, tickets were popping up for dates and disappearing almost constantly. I told myself that I wanted to go this weekend and by lunch I had it booked. I'm off to bulk buy tins of soup because that's what I'll be eating for the next few months. Woah, I do think it's unfair that they've upped the weekend premium seats prices to £250 in the last few weeks. And completely agree that it's very easy to get tickets for the show if you're willing to spend a lot of money for it.
