zahidf Check your junk e-Mail folder, assumed it was because I have ordered before from RADA before and on their mailing list as could not think of another reason, it was sent by RADA not the Riverside Studios. Ah checked all that but nothing. I'll email them but probably won't get a response before Monday now! Cest la vie

As I have previously booked for RADA productions received a priority booking e-Mail this morning. Picked up a single ticket for £25 for a Saturday evening, most seats are £75 (Band A), £50 (Band B) with a few at £25 (Band C), It is in the round and being a small space with the last row (Band C) being only the 7th could see no point in paying more. Oh that's annoying, I bought a few RADA tickets before and didn't get a presale link. Oh well will have to try my luck with public booking!

Once everyone has both jabs, we should reopen in full. If youre an antivaxxer, then good luck. You reap what you sew Everyone? Including children? Newborn babies? We were told by Matt Hancock to 'cry freedom' once the OVER 70s had been vaccinated, not everyone. The goalposts have moved so far now that they're on the bus home. The only anti antivaxxers I can see are the government and SAGE who bizarrely don't seem to think the vaccines work and we should keep lockdown measures forever. Oh, i think we should reopen now. But i can understand if they want a short delay to get more jabs in. But no other reasons and at the end of the 2/4 week delay, we open up no matter what

As always I'll see the cast and reviews. The national generally does it for me in terms of enjoying the shows once I'm there.

Managed to get a rush ticket in the far sit of the “pit”. Doesn’t say restricted view or anything although I suspect it will be quite side on! Happy with it only being £10 though, I was expecting it to be £20. Got one as well, pleasant surprise

The issue isn't that they are insolvent but no longer viable. When a new company has been set up by their former director and doing work along very similar lines, it does raise the issue of whether the decision to funnel so much money into Wise Children was the right one. It looks rather that the birth of a new company could well have contributed to the death of a long-established and beloved one. Wise Children was given a lot of money from the South West ACE pot even though they are looking like a London company that tours a bit. Potentially but 3 of the board members and artistic directors left earlier this year. I wonder if its something else other than money

I wonder how the huge ACE funding for Wise Children as a company affected the viability of Kneehigh. They say that they are solvent and it isn't a financial thing

Seems a lack of energy or something at the National. I agree, but nothing like the energy black hole in Stratford. I’ve also been somewhat disappointed with the Donmar and Almeida. Donmar is focused on constellations isn't it? And Almeida Did announce their summer season

Speaking to broadcasters in Portsmouth on Friday, the UK prime minister said: “We will be letting everybody know exactly what sort of arrangements to expect for June 21.
“But what I can tell you, and just to stress that I am still seeing nothing in the data that leads me to think that we’re going to have to deviate from the road map - obviously we must remain cautious but I’m seeing nothing that makes me think we have to deviate.
“But on June 21 and vaccine certification - or Covid status certification I should say - people should bear in mind that I don’t see any prospect of certificates to go into pubs or anything else.”
Pressed on whether the public will continue to be asked to wear masks, Johnson replied: “We will let people know as much as we possibly can by the end of the month about weddings, for instance.
“All the details we’ll try and let people know by the end of the month about exactly where we think we’ll be on June 21, Step 4.”

I remember Hamsptead has an enjoyable RSC production a few years ago of 'After Macbeth' where Lady Macbeth didnt die and it looked at the issues of ruling Scotland by Macduff
Its called 'The tragedy of Macbeth' so im thinking its going to be VERY reimagined

Isn't the Royal Court supposed to be experimental though?
The Kyle Jenner show seemed to be a big hit first time round. A 14 minute Churchill play seems pointless but it's cheap and you can watch it with the other show they have on at the same time.
Shame upstairs will be closed for the foreseeable though.
