“Kept at a healthy distance” - I’m guessing she’s the reason why there’s barriers at stage door and a G4S security guard and ATG front of house person in attendance after a show. Yeah, sorry, that wasn’t the best choice of phrase. I don’t know if it’s specific to her but I think with Wicked attracting so many intense fans, it’s just safer for everyone to have someone there.

Aspergers is no excuse. I also have it but I never use it as an excuse for anything. Me too. I think it’s where I get my obsessive tendencies with seeing the same show over and over again from. But likewise, it’s not an excuse and not something you can just throw out as a way of trying to avoid consequences.

I think the barriers and guards are there because of how big and busy Wilton Road is with buses, taxis etc, so then it makes it more organised and not as if you’re going to get run over. The funniest thing was as soon as anyone heard the stage door open, everyone turned their heads to check if it was Alice, and then checked the programme to see who this person actually was but with no luck.

That road has always been busy with traffic and busy with fans though why they didn't get some kind of security when Kerry mania took hold and people were following her home, I will never know!

Apparently she (Sarah) posted a video titled “How not to sing the Wizard and I” which had Laura Pick in it. I remember one time I commented on one of the audios of Laura something along the lines of “please promote her!” and got attacked by her saying “Laura is crap. Alice is the best.” Or something or other. Any Elphaba that isn’t Alice, Nikki B, Rachel or Amy W, she totally hates it seems. Where has this video shared? I'm curious to see it.

She’s (Sarah) deleted the video now, but it was on Rukaya’s Twitter. It still is up there I think?

I posted the video on my Twitter, she then re-uploaded it to YouTube. Sorry but her health issues are no excuse, she's beyond rude.

I mean, this is the most mad thing ever in Wicked history for me - we've had some crazy things happen, we've had nutella-gate, but hell, i never thought this.
Sure, she's got mental health issues, but doesn't excuse being nasty and all the rest of it.

There is nothing wrong with Laura’s performance in the video anyway - she’s perfectly clear and not too riffy. It’s actually a very good version of the song. Health problems or not, she is so rude to these performers (Laura, Willemijn, Amy Ross, basically anyone who isn’t Alice/Rachel/Nikki/Amy Webb)

People being rude to witches is really nothing new.
Poor Alexia got the brunt of it. Just for her terrible crime of not being Kerry.

A couple of years ago she was jailed for sending r*pe and death threats to a Holby City actress. I thought I’d heard of her name before but couldn’t place it, now I realised I’d read those articles regarding Rosie and that Sarah was responsible. Although I don’t suffer from the same mental health issues as she does I know many who do, and the fact she tries to use these as a cover honestly angers me so much. It may go some way as a reason she’s a ‘fan’ of the show but it will never be a reason why she thinks it’s ok to send such negative comments all the time to anyone who’s not her personal favourite. Anyway I thought that was a great performance by Laura, need to go and see her as Elphaba again soon.

Just seen a video of this morning's performance of 'Defying Gravity' at West End Live. That was awful. Hardly any of it was as written, it was about 90% riffing. If she performs it like that in the actual production she should be taken to task.

I don't even know how it was written! Is the original soundtrack as it should sound?

I don't even know how it was written! Is the original soundtrack as it should sound? I have the score somewhere, and from memory, what is on the cast recording is what's written on the score (or at least near enough)

Alice's portrayal is becoming more and more unpolished and, to be frank, a shouty mess ... even the spoken dialogue is mostly shouted! 👎🏼

That Defying Gravity was a huge let down if I'm honest. Felt screamed and rushed and there doesn't need to be an embellishment on every single note.

I don't even know how it was written! Is the original soundtrack as it should sound? Mostly. The flying section of the original score is pretty much as Idina sings it apart from “look to the western sky”, where it’s almost all on the same note, and both of the “bring me down”s where the first is written how Kerry Ellis sung it from 2006-9 and the second is how Natalie McQueen sung it. Most of the sheet music that’s been written since tends to incorporate Idina’s riffs though.

Ah, I'll check it out to see the difference.
I've seen a couple of pics of Oliver Savile backstage this week, I guess he's there as an emergency Fiyero.

Just listened and can only agree - it’s sounding scratchier and just shouty as the weeks go on. Yes, the crowd loved it, but it wasn’t nice on the ear

The crowd loved it because it was riff-tastic... sadly the shows seem to be riff-tastic too which isn’t what is written on the score and it does seem to be a bit OTT for me.

Will Alice’s voice seriously hold up in the next contract if she keeps going on like this?

Will Alice’s voice seriously hold up in the next contract if she keeps going on like this? Frustratingly, her technique is very solid even with the many riffs.

Alice has gone through a really interesting journey with this role. I wasn't on board and with her based on audio at first, then saw her and liked her despite her overacting and flailing her arms about like spaghetti. But now, I'm kinda back on the "I don't get why some are saying she is the best ever" side. Mainly because this performance at WEL simply wasn't very good in my opinion. It's not what I saw in the theatre that I liked from her.

Alice seems to be dividing people more than any other Elphaba.

Maria Coyne has tweeted a big rant about Sarah Louise and what she’s done to Laura.
