Camack on Radio 2 tomorrow, and they are promoting it as “big theatrical news”. Any ideas?

A revival of Follies, using the 1971 script and the National Theatre set but with a bigger string section and a much more expensive, more opulent set of designs for the Loveland sequence, at Drury Lane when Frozen closes.
I can dream, can't I?

It's probably about Oliver! going to be the Gielgud as Martin Guerre he's not involved with.
I wonder if a return season of Old Friends might also be a possibility?

Nothing that anyone has said here is worthy of a morning radio announcement…well maybe MG but it won’t be that. It’ll be bloody Oliver moving back into Drury Lane won’t it?

His retirement, or some big 'hey Mr producer' type event to celebrate his birthday (not 80 for two more years tho) or years in the business.
But let's face it, how often are these teased 'big news' items actually anything big or exciting

Les Mis is 40 next year so maybe related to that? But I assumed the arena tour was for that.

He’ll still be looking for ways to get his money back for that puppet.

Would he really announce Oliver before if it's started the Chichester run? It would seem an odd move. Normally you'd capitalise on hype, or strong reviews etc.

Miss Saigon going back into Drury Lane. Or Oliver back into there and Just For One Day into the Gielgud.

I’ve never felt it was a ‘big’ show. I guess Cameron telling us that it is by putting it in the Palladium & Drury Lane, might make it so.

This Oliver would be drowned in Drury Lane Wow, that's quite a departure from the original plot.
