Very sad news. I loved her in one of her last films - While You Were Sleeping. She was so funny.

How sad, so soon after 100th birthday. A grand old age and a tremendous career

Sad news, but what a great career and legacy! When Old Friends comes to Broadway, it would be appropriate for the video of Ms. Johns to be shown, since she not only introduced it in the premiere Broadway production of A Little Night Music in 1973, Sondheim wrote it especially for her. She won Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her performance as Desiree Armfeldt.

Sad news and we were only commenting on her longevity a few months back when she turned 100. But she was a tremendous actress, a Disney legend, was the oldest living Oscar nominee, I hadn't realised she was the first to sing Send in the Clowns until it was mentioned on here when she reached 3 figures.
But CouldILeaveYou summed it up perfectly with his post of her performing the song and his two sentence tribute above I don't think I can add further plaudits.
