So, S Club 7 are back with much fanfare, with the marketing ‘spin doctor’s go into overdrive with (at least 3 of the 7 making an appearance at the Brit Awards this year
Then comes the official announcement with all 7 appearing in person on The One Show.
Paul then dies unexpectantly. I’m guessing that once the shock sets in the decision is whether to continue or not which the agree to do citing “It’s what Paul would have wanted”.
Really? Is that really what Paul would have wanted? Guess we’ll never know. (At the risk of coming across a cynical) or is it a case that we’ve sold too many tickets, so we can’t back out now.
Now it has been announced that Hannah will not be appearing- don’t know why, don’t really care.
So the spin doctors go into overdrive. Suddenly from 7, we’re down to 5 and they’ve rebranded- Now S Club.
All I know of I know is that whilst’ Paul’s death was both tragic and unexpected, if I had paid over £200 for ticket (yes, over £200!) to re-live my youth somewhat on the expectation that there’ll be 7, but in actual fact on 5, I’d be pretty p***ed off!
Don't we get to be happy? At some point down the line, don't we get to relax without some new tsuris to push me yet further from you!
Who dare tell the lambs in Spring what fate the later season brings?

You might not be pissed off, you might be relatively sympathetic.
He died of natural causes, so we know he probably wasn't planning on missing the tour. He also probably doesn't have a problem with his colleagues earning their living whilst he isn't able to. You'll have to ask him.
Hannah is naturally very upset because she was his partner for a time so they were understandably closer than the rest of their bandmates.
And they became 'S Club' before when Paul left the first time in the early 00's.
And the £200 tickets were for a meet & greet package, the main tickets were priced £40-£75. Would you be happier if the re-priced them at £142.86 to accommodate the five sevenths available?
Take That have been touring (and recording) successfully as a trio for getting on to a decade now. They don’t charge 3/5ths of the ticket price!
Given the circumstances- an unexpected death and bereavement - and the fact that presumably the people buying the tickets are fans, and actually like the band members (who obviously need the money - they were notoriously ripped off in their heyday) it would be pretty churlish of them to demand a refund.
anthony40 if you don’t know and don’t care why Hannah does not feel up to participating, you can’t be an actual S Club fan, and those £200 tickets were definitely not intended for you.
