If you can't prove a negative test result, you don't get in. Thats it. Are they even checking this I wonder? And how? On the door? They check but don't really enforce it. Its a business at the end of the day and if customers refuse then they will do a temp check and let you in.

Nothing should ever be judged from a TV promo performance, it's an entirely different environment. But you can judge a TV promo. A good promo will lead to a spike in sales. That was a terrible promo for what I've heard is an excellent musical.

They've just performed on Comic Relief... They just died on Comic Relief... Who signed it off and what have they been drinking?

Harry Potter was looking at an open ended run at Manchester Opera House pre-covid...
Grease did 6 months at the Manchester Opera House in 1996.

Off topic and please delete if not allowed but is this the first year Qdos have done Goldilocks as a panto or have they done it before? It was done a few times in the early 2000's starring Frank Bruno and then Lisa Riley with Clive Webb & Danny Adams. I think the last time Qdos produced it was probably 2007/8 in Edinburgh.

I dont have any deep comments to make, I just don't think it was very good and didn't enjoy it.

I too thought Lily was fantastic in In The Heights, her voice was gorgeous. Didn't enjoy her anywhere near as much in Dreamgirls, and actually started doubting it was the same person! I hope there's only one of her.

So it looks like there will be another tour of American Idiot next year - the American Idiot Twitter teased it, and now dates have appeared for next January on the Southampton Mayflower website. I am wondering if they are going to use the original tour set as the Mayflower would absolutely drown the set from the most recent tour? It played Manchester Palace and Liverpool Empire on the last tour, is Mayflower that much bigger? No. The stage footprint of the Mayflower is smaller than Manchester Palace & Liverpool Empire.

I'm sure Qdos would love to use Warwick and a company of dwarfs, he's very popular.

I enjoyed it but it lacks the WOW factor. Thank showbiz for Gary Wilmot, he's the best thing in it.

I didn't like this when I saw it in London. It needs work before they bring it back.

It looks like 20th Century Boy is going back on the road next year with dates in Poole, Blackpool and Bromley already confirmed.

Wow, that was amazing. I had a theatre first, they changed Curtis mid-show cause the actor felt unwell. "Listen" was incredibly epic. Oh my! P.S. I just can NOT stand Lily Frazer. She's just so boring. She stands there and deliver her few lines looking bored. Lily has to be one of the worst performers in the West End.

There's a few people I'd like to see cast - David Walliams as Sarah the Cook, Denise Van Outen as Fairy Bow Bells, Jim Davidson as King Rat, Stephen Mulhern as Dick.
