Oh good I didn't want to actually have any money in the near future 😹 although it does depend on cast

Tbh the lack of Miss Lynch made very little difference, I would be very interested to see what they would do if it was any other character

I saw Wednesday matinee too. The new songs (well the 3 that were performed) are just not good! Since Shobna Gulati wasn't there her song obviously wasn't in it. I assume that was only slotted in to give Jessica Paul a longer quick change as she seemed to be trying to fix her costume once she appeared. Sophie Issacs also appeared injured, ankle heavily strapped up and no dancing.
I don't know if the curve have understudies since there's only 4 ensemble but if they don't they could run into some problems if they just cut characters

Once they started "star" casting Teen Angel they split up the Vince Fontaine/Teen Angel into two roles so yeah Teen Angel does all of one scene in the entire show whereas Vince Fontaine gets a smidgen more to do

I've only ever seen two paper signs up saying the Carole is Rachel along with a cast list screen (which permanently had the ensemble wrong) when Rachel was on there was only the screen.
On The Bodyguard Facebook page where is a rather amusing 1* review moaning about Beverley not being on as advertised and wanting her money back since the last playing Rachel went off sick half way through

I saw you at stage door, glad you enjoyed it! So good to have Glen as Frank I prefer him to Ben by miles! Today's mat was also Matthew Wesley's debut as The Stalker

Anybody know if Beverley comes out to stage door after a matinee? I've been told she doesn't, but obviously that can change

I think she only had one bout of sickness at the Adelphi as both her and Tristan had the same thing as that's when I saw Carole for the first time. Tbf Alexandra had a good track record as far as I'm aware there were only three occasions when she went off sick

I liked Glen (his understudy) when I saw him, his Frank has no time for Rachel's diva antics, very different to Stuart Reid but good nonetheless

Rachel was excellent back in February but she just added so much more yesterday, I still think she's more suited to 'Rachel' then 'Nicki' just wish she'd had more opportunities to go on. Emmy as 'Nicki' I just loved! She's flirty, sarcastic, yet I found her very likeable, Rachel's 'Nicki' occasionally comes across as very jealous of everything Rachel does, yet other times she plays her racked with guilt which I prefer. Emmy's 'Nicki' seems horrified at what she's done and when 'Frank' pushes her away I actually felt awful for her... But her death scene was the most powerful I've seen in a lot of shows.

Emmy's down as first cover in the London Programme, I assume it could be because Ibinabo is leaving early for Dreamgirls. Mark Willshire made his full show debut as Frank Farmer on Saturday along with Charles Hagarty as Ray Court

I followed The Bodyguard tour a lot over the last year and caught a few understudies mostly the alternate Rachel and only saw in 3 different venues (Southampton, Birmingham & Oxford) a sign up. Now in London there's a few notices dotted about saying the alternate Rachel is on but last time I watched I had another understudy which wasn't announced only by the cast list but then you would need a programme to still know

I find it strange it's evening shows only when they sell better then matinees (particularly the midweek)

The only programme I had mentioning Rachel as an u/s was Canterbury when she was alternating. Think It is just an error they've still not corrected. Rachel did get two unplanned tour shows in Norwich when Carole was off sick

No major changes from the tour, I could happily listen to Beverley sing for hours, her Greatest Love Of All was beautiful. She's such a emotional Rachel at the end! Audience around me were great, some shout outs especially during the karaoke scene.
Also it's the tour house.

I'll just whinge about any changes for about five minutes then won't even be fussed by the my next show, from experience with me if I don't like something the first time there's a good chance I will the second.
Either way I like this cast, the only new one for me will be Ben so it will be him and any changes I'll be focasing on.
Just gotta actually get a ticket for tonight haha

Possibly, depends on if they want to spend money really. If anything it may just be the added German bits. I'll probably go on Friday just because I'm impatient and will want to see it for myself early rather then waiting

Considering that the fit up is being done now, surely these pictures were taken in a tour venue? Yes they were. from dates I've seen it was Liverpool

No I think it's her assistant that does it all now, he did the German production and brought in the changes from that

Just noticed on the official site there's more show pictures including a Carole one in the feather monstrosity.
I think a London stop was always planned once it started selling well, since they didn't actually want to leave London in the first place. I know the second tour cast always had a year long contract anyway

The pictures were done somewhen between Milton Keynes and Leeds going by who's in the pics as due to injuries they had 3 extra ensemble join at different points, I'm pretty sure Ben watched in Milton Keynes so maybe it was done then

I'll be shocked if they do a new set, when it went back to London all they did was a new Greased Lightning car plus a few little things and completely downsized Marty's bedroom set!
Zoe Doano would be great as Sandy she was second cover in the final cast but didn't go on unfortunately
