That high money for that cast. Aaron Tveit well known on Broadway and an unknown in the WE. Tickets should be lower. They will be selling it on the movie. But he does not look like a Christian to me. So if the tickets are cheaper- you are happy for a much less extravagant production I assume? Maybe cut some ensemble , and some of the scenery? Aaron Tveit is not Hugh Jackman. Only theatre fans know who he is! No need to yell. Its the way I feel. Its a blinking jutebox musical.

Zak97 Why put that down. It was only 1 comment mentioning she was a republican. You are starting something that is not there. I would not call that negative perspective unless you want to start it. Leave politics out of something. I don’t want to start anything at all. I have seen quite a few comments about it (from general public and industry professionals) all of which were a roll of the eye comment. I find it quite frustrating people seem to assume a lot of information at the moment at face value on Twitter at the moment without sufficient integration to establish whether such views/criticism is valid. Politics should never enter into casting.

Negative perspective circulating on Twitter regarding this because Laura is apparently a registered Republican. Zak97 Why put that down. It was only 1 comment mentioning she was a republican. I think it (TA) brings out the worst side of people…Hyacinth Buckets bitching about paper napkins, a lack of coconut milk, cheap muesli and low thread counts. My Mom loved that show.

I wonder why they did not get Danny Mac. I am kind of tired of Ramin. Everyone will just be waiting for his last "Bou le vard".

I always found the premise of Paint Never Dries as stupid. As you said above.

Its my opinion. But I did hear an interview with Glen Close on Wednesday and she never mentioned it. If you were getting ready to film something this summer I think she would have said something.

CZJ is doing a guest arc on Prodigal Son in the US opposite Martin Sheen. Someone mentioned James Marsden before and he would do well. I just do not see Zach or Jeremy. Actually, if I am honest, I do not see an audience for this anymore. I do not see the need to remake it.

I just thought of someone who is box office, good actor, age appropriate and can sing. Jake Gyllenhall.

Anne Hathaway for Betty Schaefer and perhaps Darren Criss or Joe Jonas as Joe? Or if they want Joe a bit older, Eddie Redmayne or Aaron Tveit? Goodness no to any of them. There is no song Anne can cry her way through without actually singing. DC or JJ or way to young. Just because he was in LM does not make Eddie a Joe. AT meh and no movie or tv profile. A very hard role because none of them will sell a movie.

I wonder if this has lost its window. Glenn is not getting younger and the big push of it being in both NY and London I do not think has carried over. I know on here with all the theatre people they look forward to it, but not so sure this is what the general public will be looking for in entertainment. Also Glenn has never carried a movie on her own. You would have to have a money cast around her. Specifically Joe. I do not think Michael Xavier would genrate movie interest. And I cannot even think of someone to play Joe who would have a following.

As southstreet said there was no chemistry between Aaron and Karen. But why are you all only saying Rob Houchen. There is nothing that says he has to have blonde floppy hair. As for age its the stage and makeup and "acting" that makes you younger or older. Aaron is 38 now and Karen 47.

Who would everyone like to see as the leads? The most talented people and not casting someone for the sake of wokeness.

Great minds. As I was teasing that would make the most sense. The Cinders part was sarcastic. Though you never know.

How about, he has nothing to do with Cinderella at all. Its smoke and mirrors and he is in love with the Prince marries him, even though there was a duke previously involved, and thus becomes a prince himself. Meanwhile Cinders has fallen for the Stepmother. And they have a double wedding. And I will wink you back LOL.

If Sebastian is a Prince (where did that come from) and is supposed to be the one she falls in love with, after watching the 2 videos he looks too young for her. He looks like a teen and even though CHF is young, she looks way older. IMO. And just how many times can you belt in that song she is singing. Too many.

That is what I read ages ago. The Prince is gay. And in the cast list he was listed in the ensemble.

Glen brought Michael Xavier with her all over and he has done tv he could be Joe. Otherwise who would you have Harry Styles, Justin Beiber, Josh Groban. Actually they way the age differnce would be John Barrowman would be an excellent choice as Joe. His "Sunset Blvd". is awesome.

Can a show have too much exposure before it even opens? If so this is it. Is it still the same plot where the princes fall in love with each other I wonder. I am sick of Carrie and ALW. And it does not even open for 5 months. The 2 songs I have heard are only meh for me.

5th June and starring Killian according to Baz via Cameron. Literally can't wait. Gonna be EPIC :-) Seems that Killian has cornered the market on anything Les Miz or Phantom. He does not blow me away, but obviously he does Cam Mac.

Prince Charming in the ensemble is quite a change. I thought he might be paired with another prince in the say way as Into the Woods. Why call it Cinderella at all.
