I’m still surprised Viva Forever flopped as hard as it did, I would have thought it would see sell really well if it toured. I have always thought this!! With so many other jukebox musicals working well and being successful (subject to everyone's personal opinion of them of course), I've always thought that it might have done better!

I've not had chance to listen to the recording yet, but I was curious to see that 'Our Little World' isn't included, is it included in the production? Or is it omitted from both? (Having not seen it) It’s not in the production. I thought that might be the case, thanks for the clarification

I had a listen to it briefly before heading to bed last night, and on my way to work this morning, and what i heard was really good! I'm really glad that they've captured the original Broadway cast for this, it sounds great!
Can't wait to listen to it all!

Seeing this on Saturday, and really interested to see if they have made an changes to the structure/songs in the show, since its being billed as a 'Brand New Production'.
Anyone seeing it tomorrow night?

Were we surprised that she won? As it is more of a 'popularity contest? As people have said she means well, but perhaps she should think of the way she says/words her comments sometimes!

Has there been any talk of a cast recording of this production? I feel that it would be such a missed opportunity if they didn't!

My Fair Lady is due to begin performances in less than three months. Any idea of when we can expect a casting announcement? I was just wondering the same thing!

The Hamilton Pro-Shoot delayed that I imagine, don't want too many pro-shoots appearing at once! That came out like a year and half ago. It’s been plenty of time. My best guess now would be that they release it at the end of this year to tie in with the films 30th anniversary. It’s be great to see them also release one for Beauty and the Beast. Keep this trend going of professionally recorded theatre. Oh I completely agree with you, its been far too long, just release it already! I'm just glad that this is finally coming into town, so I can catch it in person. The idea of a pro-shoot further down the line is something I'll keep my fingers crossed for!

It also sounds like a great opportunity for them to film it... They're pouring billions into Disney+ content right now Still waiting on that Aladdin proshot… The Hamilton Pro-Shoot delayed that I imagine, don't want too many pro-shoots appearing at once!

I'm sorry for those involved, but having booked to see this first in 2017, which didn't go ahead even without COVID, I'll hesitate to book anything Selladoor are producing again. Seems like they've been sailing close to the wind even before All This. I think that's a bit harsh to say, they've had successes with multiple tours of Footloose, then they were associated with Amelie, Falsettos at The Other Palace, and then the most recent Fame tour that was filmed. So I'd hardly say they were 'sailing close to the wind', its been a challenging time for everyone in the industry. Also the 2017 production had nothing to do with Selladoor, as said above.

No that was the producer that did the Wonderland tour, that collapsed towards the end, at the same time as Bring it On was about to start, then that collapsed also!

That’s a shame, I was thinking of seeing it in Manchester but hadn’t got as far as booking. Surprised to hear that 13 performances were propping up the finances for a pretty extensive tour. One of our insiders was saying in another thread that touring shows tend to make their money in 12 or 13 venues and often run at a loss in the rest but just 13 cancelled shows made the walls come tumbling down here? All sounds very tenuous. I think unfortunately it hasn't sold as well as they had hoped, which is the same with some lesser well known shows that are currently on sale at the moment. And with cancelled performances and proably the London run possibly not being as visited as much as originally anticipated, it all sort of adds up. Like others of said, people may have been weary to buy tickets for this, in the fear that like the last planned tour (that granted never even got off its feet before it was cancelled), were waiting until it was out on the road, or closer to the time to book, I know I would be the same if I wasn't able to see it during the Southbank run. Its a shame, but with the current climate, it don't blame them!

If we're not getting a London run can we at least have a close-to-London tour stop? I really want to see this! I second this whole heartedly!!

Has there been any more news/confirmation/talk with regards to the possible London run?

One question I do have for anyone perhaps more familiar with the show, is Louis Smith's part (Cameron) a very small part, or is he maybe injured at the moment? He was on stage for, I would say, a total of 5 minutes, and didn't do any gymnastics (which I assume is one of the main selling points in casting him in a show like this). I'm guessing what's maybe happened is he's injured at the moment so they kept in his dialogue and swung in someone for his dancing/gymnastics scenes, rather than getting an understudy on? His part is a smaller part, I know that for sure, but I do think I did hear that he wasn't feeling 100%/injured, and with the London press night on Tuesday, they might be making sure he's 100% for that

Victoria tweeted something the other day that it was always in her contract not to do the Sunday show. I assume she has school age children and she would like to spend some time with them during the week. Yeah I'm sure she's has younger children, as if I remember correctly she had babe in arms when she started rehearsals for Murder Ballad, which was back in 2016.

This is such music to my ears, as I recently just rediscovered the cast recording! So I'm totally pleased this is still on the cards!

Well I won rush today, the payment paused for about 30 seconds as usual, but then actually managed to complete. I can see a ticket in my account! So I shall be there in Stalls Row R tonight to see Rachel York. I'd love to hear thoughts on Rachels performance, I'm intrigued to see someone else do the role and wondering if its worth another visit
