Does anyone know what audiences can be like for this? I’m going on Saturday night but I’m a bit worried that etiquette will be poor, e.g. folk singing along. I particularly want to see Elena belt out her song, and I’ll be so disappointed if the audience choose to sing over her. I was there last night. There was a small group in the stalls that tried but didn't continue when others didn't join in. Audience clapping participation encouraged from stage during some songs and bo rap singing at the end. You should hear Elena no bother - she can belt out a song

wondering what the chances are that the concert version will be filmed and screened in cinemas once the run is over? The price of tickets combined with travel and accommodation I don't feel I can justify it.

Just back from seeing the matinee in Edinburgh, and I can't comment on Danny as he was not on, but I thought the actor who played Joe excellently (even after all the muttering from the audience when the understudy was announced just seconds before the show started). Thought Ria was effortless and and brilliant

Excellent. Going to make a trip today :-) Now to gamble over whether Rachael is doing Matinee as Michelle away, or wait and go tonight ....

The Wonderland twitter account has been hinting there might be one in the pipeline. In response to someone who asked if there was a UK recording the response was "not yet" and it has been retweeting people's request for a cast recording. Here's hoping :-) Although I assume they would need both Kerry and Rachael to record half each?

I was there last night. Went not knowing what to expect and came out absolutely buzzing! I found it quite slow and wooden at the start, maybe just first night nerves, but improved through first act. second act they came out on fire. Natalie McQueen was electric as mad hatter. wendi Peters very entertaining the brief spells she was on stage and I thought Kerry Ellis did excellently - I agree with Musicman, she did seem genuinely overcome with the standing ovation at the end - no mean feat from an Edinburgh Playhouse audience. at times band overpowered the singers and some songs are very fast which made the ensemble sound a little muffled but this may improve as they get into the tour. I was sitting across the aisle from Frank Wildhorn who seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself. Tempted to make a return visit next weekend to see how it has improved - it doesn't seem to be selling well (although it is a huge venue to fill). Also trying to find OBC recording but can only find it on USA sites, not UK ones. Anyone help?
