For my taste, I’d take a performance without blocking, without an attempt at costuming, and without lighting changes - if there was integrity to the sound. I wouldn’t mind a blank stage with all performers in rehearsal blacks just singing. If I can hear you, the material has the chance to move me. If all I am thinking about is missed cues, lighting changes and clumsy costumes - you’ve lost me before you really even get started. There was only one reason I stated past the first act and that was Laurie Kynaston’s beautiful voice - which was effortlessly moving , when I could hear it.

I was originally due to be out of London for this and now I'm not but of course it's now basically sold out. Just putting this out there in case anyone has a spare ticket they are planning to sell. (Though I've just seen they've announced more of the cast so imagine there will also be increased demand).
What's the likelihood of a second show?

Editing this as I asked a question and then figured out a solution.

I've just posted a spare ticket for the concert on the noticeboard. I paid £41 but selling for £30 ONO as I can't make it. I have an e-ticket in hand.

Going to go for on stage tickets for this - would those who saw it from the stage last time suggest a particular row is best? I want to be able to see well but don't like the idea of being 'on show' so was thinking of the back row. Thoughts?

I am thinking of reinstating my membership to get early access on the £15 Monday allocation. Does anyone know what it means when it says "a maximum of four advanced Monday tickets per person." Is that per show, per performance or even per season?

I was supposed to see this tonight but it was cancelled this afternoon due to "cast injury". I hope whoever concerned is okay.

Sadly I had forgotten about the presale and all the £30 tickets are gone. Can't justify £65 so hoping there will be day seats/returns or an extension.

Could Reeve be returning for this? Unlikely. I think he’ll stick in New York with Eva and he’s scheduled on the broadway cruise in March. Ah - didn't know about the cruise or Eva's work schedule, just saw him leaving the Broadway cast and wondered. I'm sure you're right!

That's pretty difficult as we don't know the full set up yet. I went L on the side, taking a chance on the legroom (got an aisle seat) and whether the playing area would be close to me or not. Not sure if L will be in its usual place behind the wall or on the floor. My guess is behind the wall. Row M are "high chairs" and under an overhang. I found them comfy and not too far away. For this I think they will be closer than usual, hence the much higher price. So, comes down to if you want legroom / can climb the high chairs or if you want to be potentially closer to the action, I think.
Thank you! Just booked.

Booking for the Antipodes and wondering opinions on whether to go for: Pit L on the side (around seat 13) or the slightly more expensive back row of the pit straight on Row M. How much better is that to the side? I've only been straight on before but this production seems a bit more expensive than the Dorfman usually is (but maybe I'm remembered the prices wrong) They're both marked as blank and "unremarkable" on monkey's site.
I'd love advice!

Has anyone sat in Row U or V in the stalls? How is it for the view on this show?
I've been a bit on the fence about seeing it but would really like to see Katherine McPhee and these rows seem good value.

Just saw a promotion on Band A tickets for the Richmond run for £20 with code RCEDB. Of course you still pay fees so it’s about £26 but just booked. Hope that helps anyone thinking about going!

QueueIt changed their system. Your Queue joining number doesn't change any more, but your time remaining estimate shows how you are advancing in the queue. Thank you!

2307 for me on three devices this was still the lowest and I was logged in pre 12pm. Strangely though it hasn't moved even one place since.. suspect something wrong there.

I do travel to see shows I really want to- usually to Bath, Bristol, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge, Chichester, Dublin and Edinburgh (actually hadn't realised how much I do it!). I am in a position where I do travel with work so I can often go to theatres near where I may be working in which case I don't pay for the travel as it's paid for, so often if it's a touring production that's going to London it is often cheaper in other cities. I definitely wouldn't do it as often if I had to pay for all the travel. I do go also outside of the UK - usually though it's for opera or ballet and not theatre so it's usually France, Italy, Germany or Austria.

Eva Noblezada, Holliday Grainger, Harry and Luke Treadaway were all at the Other Palace watching Reeve Carney.

Incidentally Matthew Needham has been spending an inordinate amount of time at my work lately (three times in the last week alone) that I wonder how he is finding time for anything else. Oh well. It certainly has been brightening my days up...

My partner got a "bad luck" email only one hour ago. I still haven't received anything but I don't hold out much hope. A shame I would have loved to see this - more for Mitchell, Crimp and Dillane than Blanchett who I used to work with so isn't so interesting for me, though she's a fantastic actress obviously.

Got through queue again still just says you must have a valid event selected. Ahh.
Same message for me. Hopefully the "queue paused" will sort the bugs out.

Despite booking for all the Pinter season through ATG I didn’t receive a presale link this morning so I’m just checking that other people did. It WAS supposed to be today at 9am?

Reeve Carney was off tonight. No signs that I could see of who was in the role.

Gosh. I seem to be very much in the minority that liked Reeve Carney. I actually thought he was perfect casting in this. Vocally I also thought he had one of the more interesting voices in the cast too. I’m on Team Reeve. I’ll join you in that minority. The flaws I saw in his character were wholly due to the writing than the performance which I thought was pitched beautifully.
