Was just about to post the same, this link worked fine for me. £29.50 for front row sets fairly reasonable - loved the workshop last year.

Just had a look at the Facebook page for this and there's quite a few 5 star rave reviews from those that saw the lab production in the US last year. Sounds interesting!

Saw on Facebook yesterday a photo of a big new ‘Tina’ sign being installed on the front of the theatre, looked a bit like a huge signature. I won’t repost their photo here, but it looks pretty good!

Thanks for sharing I guess it’s not selling and at those prices I am not surprised Not selling well at all by the looks of it! And there’s still £10 tickets available now almost a day later - I think they were expecting a very high volume of people trying to get these cheap tickets based on their Facebook post. Am looking forward to seeing it though, based on the good feedback I’ve read on here

At this point I’m just convinced that account is a bot that randomly parses together (get it?) a string of negative words in random threads at carefully timed intervals.
I was at the Albert Hall in the circle at the Oliviers and the sound wasn’t too good up there, but watching the performance back on TV I thought it sounded and looked great, especially the choreography and lighting.

I had no idea she was involved in this. So yea, if she is, it'll transfer to London. with Jon, once DREAMgirls is out, MEANgirls could replace it. And it wasn’t too long ago that FUNNY Girl was in that house! I’m seeing a pattern here. Maybe time for a revival of Me and My Girl soon?

Well it looks like this has got mixed reviews post opening night, but is doing great at the box office. When asked if she'd like to produce the show on the West End Sonia Friedman was quoted at the Oliviers saying "Yeah, we'd love to... certainly, if I'm involved, it's going to happen, isn't it?". I can't wait!

Just got a £10 ticket for this for Thursday using the Menier's 'Spider Web Special', on Mondays at midday they release 4 tickets at £10, 8 tickets at £20 and 16 tickets at £30 for each performance that week. I thought the tickets would be gone instantly, but there's still even the £10 tickets for a lot of days available now (8 minutes past). Looks like they will be doing this every week, so a good chance to get a cheap ticket!

Well that looks like pretty perfect evidence to me that this whole situation shouldn't exist in the first place, unless they changed their terms and conditions since 2016 which they may have done.
What a mess!

I tweeted TodayTix once to ask if referral codes could be shared here - they said yes, it was fine! Do you still have this tweet? If you could get a screenshot of it it could maybe be useful for those that have lost their credit to use if they wanted to argue that the policy wasn't clearly stated or enforced earlier, unless they made a change to the terms and conditions after you sent that tweet.

Went to a preview of this a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with it. There were so many scenes that were pretty much an exact replica (almost word for word) of moments in my teenage years when I was discovering my sexuality and preparing to come out.
Really nice film, and I’m so glad it’s getting s lot of attention and such a wide release.

I’m on my way too - first time and very excited!
Have seen that Lin-Manuel Miranda currently has shingles, so I presume he won’t be there to accept any of the awards which is a shame!

being first time you have a good chance of winning. Sorry I just wanted to check on what this means? Surely every time you enter you have the same probability of winning? Unless the lottery is fixed somehow?

Well I’ll definitely be lucky dipping at the Young Vic again, ended up with row C for part 2 tonight. Best £20 I’ve spent at the theatre in a long time! Looks like there was plenty of space for everyone to get a seat tonight from what I could see, and didn’t get turfed out of my seat for any last minute Redgrave fans.
Loved part 2 just as much as part 1, and I’d now go as far as to say I enjoyed this more than Angels in America (can’t help but compare the two), I think primarily because I could relate to this a lot more. I hope this has life after this current run. I’d love to see it again, but looks like getting a ticket for both parts for the rest of this run is pretty much impossible.

Just announced on Facebook - Cast recording available to purchase from the theatre and online from this evening! The link to order online is bit.ly/2Jm2mVLWill be available digitally at the end of April (which is good news - at least they are releasing it digitally unlike Bat out of Hell. I don’t even own anything that plays CDs anymore)

Well thank you all for the advice about the lucky dip tickets. Got there about 40 minutes before it started and was the first in the lucky dip queue, ended up with a front row seat! It was perfect (apart from when I got 2 used cotton buds thrown on my shoes at one point!)
As for the play, I thought part one was WONDERFUL. I loved every second of it and really can’t wait for part two tomorrow night. I know you guys had mentioned about the final scene, but it was so much more moving than I was expecting. Currently sat on the train and still have blurry eyes!

In that case I’d better get down the opticians. I was sat right by the box and was specifically looking for it and couldn’t see anything! It can’t be there for the whole show surely as it would get in the way of the safety curtain etc - still perplexed as to how they do it. If it is a wire where does it come from? At which point do the 2 areas get joined together? This sort of stuff fascinated me 😀 This is the problem with spoilering things, people miss them. {Spoiler - click to view} The wire is attached at the box end, but it doesn't go into the tunnel to suspend it across the stage until the final song. Someone runs into the tunnel with it while the audience's attention is on Strat and Raven. I don't know where it's stored before that, but presumably somewhere stage left that doesn't end up behind the safety curtain.
I sat in the slip seats a lot at the Coliseum with a view straight down the tunnel, and I still only saw it if I was specifically watching for it, it's neatly done. Got it! Will definitely have to keep an eye out for the setup next time! Either way it’s a great effect 😀

Seeing as I'd seen the show before I was expecting the effect at the end, but really have no idea how they do it. If anyone has any idea how they get the {Spoiler - click to view} bats to fly from the tunnel to the box I'd love to hear it! I was sat right by the box where the bats end up, and couldn't see any type of string at all for the bats to fly along leading from the tunnel to the box - I am sure if there was a string there it would have been in my view for the whole show but I didn't notice it. Are they some kind of homing drones? Did they have a guide string at the Coliseum?

Ive got a lucky dip for part 1 tomorrow and part 2 on Friday. I didn’t read the part about possibly being assigned a standing place until after I’d booked. Looking at the length of each part I REALLY don’t think I can stand that long. Has anyone noticed anyone standing when they have been? I’m aiming to get there around 6 to be near the front of the queue when they dish out the lucky dips.

Well I loved the show tonight just as much as I did at the Coliseum last year! A real over the top theatrical spectacle
The rear of the circle was closed tonight (which it looks like they were expecting, as there are themed cover sheets on the seats), with the rest of the circle about 85% full.
From what I can remember the show is pretty much identical to how it was at the Coliseum. I remember before the show started last time there was a projection on the curtain with a bit of a story on it, but now there’s just the Bat out of Hell logo and some bats. The ‘newspaper’ that’s on every seat looks to be of better quality than previously too.
I was in seat D5 of the circle, which is the first one of the row to be not classed as restricted view - the seat to my right would have a portion of the stage blocked by speakers. My view was fine, apart from I couldn’t see the far right of Raven’s bedroom, but with the live camera feed that wasn’t too much of an issue. I didn’t notice any issues with sound from where I was sitting
I wish I could have been in the room when they were initially workshopping the choreography to see the looks on the ensembles faces - it really is nuts, but I think that makes me love it just that much more.
Honestly it was worth going just to see Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad again - I could listen to Danielle Steers sing that song on a loop for a week (and she’s seriously making me question my sexuality)
The alternate Strat was on tonight - he was brilliant, but possibly lacked a little bit of the intensity from when I saw it previously. Andrew Polec just does those crazy eyes so perfectly.
Tink was played by a different actor to when I saw it before. His ‘Not Allowed to Love’ was outstanding. I can definitely see him taking on some other non-rock roles in future.
There’s a merchandise shop in a room near the entrance to the stalls, but it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with people trying to get in and out of a small door. There’s a much bigger merch stand upstairs.
The atmosphere tonight wasn’t quite as crazy as last time. There were about 4 very loud girls on the back row that were standing and dancing throughout every high energy number
Will definitely be going back later in the run! Hope the sales pick up a bit

Well the TodayTix rush tickets didn’t go very quickly this morning, still some available. Looks like they are pretty decent seats in the centre blocks of row T and U which should usually be £75 at the moment, so a real bargain
Am going this evening and looking forward to seeing the alternate Strat!

Have Ticketmaster turned off the option to select your own seat for this? I’ve tried various methods that have worked in the past, including the www1 and I can only get a list (with premium seats). Tried both desktop and mobile. Any workarounds please? It’s currently working on Safari on my iPhone, though I noticed it wasn’t working in multiple browsers on my laptop the other day.

There’s already a thread for this - they semi-announced a new tour a while ago. It’s currently on the Southampton Mayflower website for January 2019 😀

Happened to be walking past the theatre just before they were drawing the names for the lottery last night so I entered and won (for a third time - maybe I should play the real lottery?), making last night my 4th visit, and 3rd different cast. The current cast are probably the best I've seen so far (including the originals WE cast) and the whole show felt a lot more fresh than it did when I saw it around a year ago. The current Cunningham has my favourite Nabulungi name so far too {Spoiler - click to view} Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Batman! . If anyone hasn't seen it in a while I'd definitely recommend now being a good time for a return visit! When at the box office paying for the lottery win, I could hear the tourists at the 'regular' box office window very happily shelling out over £100 per ticket for the last few remaining seats. It's amazing that even after 5 years this show has such a pull. There was easily around 80-100 people entering the lottery too.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but just spotted that TodayTix will be doing £25 rush tickets for this Ooh exciting! Does anyone know where in the theatre the rush tickets will be? @theatremonkey ? I presume they will probably just be box office discretion - when I got a rush ticket for An American in Paris in the same venue I was in row E of the circle.
