Amazing news! I wonder who she’ll play? My guess is a teacher at the school.

From what people have said I will probably give the 2nd ep a go but the first ep didn’t grab me as much as I hoped it would. was def cliche at times and I thought some of the acting was pretty hammy.

I know it's a very long shot, but does anyone know what theatre was used to film the scenes where Damon goes to the ballet in ep.2? It looks so much nicer than any Broadway theatre I have been in!

Season 2 has started in the States.
Anyone else seen the first episode yet? I liked it, but the tone seemed all over the place and it felt very rushed. Pray Tell's sudden turn around to becomming an activist, and are we meant to believe that Electra had lived in Blanca's house for the past 3 years?? It seems like Electra is just a drama plot device rather than a proper character.
Still, the performances are great and i'm looking forward to whats comin next.

I loved this show though I found their season finale a bit of a letdown. Overall thought I found the show to be full of heart and empathy and wonderfully performed.

Yes I watched it last night and have the second ready to watch. It brought back memories for me of that time and the huge misunderstandings and terrible fears that were around and the early days of the activism. Billy Porter was dynamite I thought. I agree Electra is an odd character, she feels like she should be recurring rather than a regular and this on again/off again rivalry/friendship is tiresome and will get more so if they keep at it. But I do love the show, the music is enough for me!

Midway through the second series now and the episode I watched last night, No 4 Never Knew Love Like This Before was one of the finest hours of television I have ever watched. Superbly written, directed and acted especially by Angelica Ross. Deeply deeply moving and devastating that we still have the same things to deal with today. Highly recommended

For those watching season 2, episode 6 features Patti singing Sondheim (as well as outstanding performances from Billy P and Sandra B)

Late to the party for season 2. Episodes 1 to 4 great and yes I cried at E04.
But 5 and 6 (that’s where I am so far) leave me disappointed and a bit upset to be honest. Blatant, yes blatant shoehorning of Sandra Bernhardt and Patti Lupone into the storyline and to then have them both showing off and singing in front of an of audience AIDS patients. No.
I’m sure Ryan Murphy was loving it but that does not sit well with me.
