Reminds me of the times when I was watching Glee (I know, I'm sorry) and was wondering why sometimes actors looked like they had massive green-ish bruises. I then found out that their tattoos had to be covered.

As some discussion was brought up in the unpopular opinions thread, who here has a tattoo?
I've got two as I explained there: the theatre masks and "no day but today" (Rent reference).

I have no tattoos yet, but I have a shortlist of Shakespeare quotes I'm considering (a tattoo is for life, so I'm not in any particular hurry!) and I love seeing pictures of other people's tattoos, particularly if they're relevant to my interests, which you should definitely take as a hint if you have some stagey ink.

I have one - a small one on my back that means it isn't visible at work (I'm not allowed to have tattoos visible in the office). It was a personal decision so I don't really care if other people like tattoos or not - I myself don't like huge ones or people who are completely covered in them

I dare say the answer to this question is staring me in the face, but... what's the point of having a tattoo on your back?

I'm not allowed to have tattoos visible in the office Seriously, I don't get it. A tattoo doesn't make you a worse person or a bad employee. This mentality needs to change.

Tatts aren’t really for me but piercings 😜😜😜
Depending on the piercing A part of that appeal is no lasting last mark, or nothing that is too visible. Is tattoo removal that effective ? With tatts what you want now will you still want it in 50 years time?

I'm not allowed to have tattoos visible in the office Seriously, I don't get it. A tattoo doesn't make you a worse person or a bad employee. This mentality needs to change. I do tend to agree with that, it's a very strange viewpoint nowadays seeing as so many people have them (whatever I may think of them and whether I would want one or not). I'd prefer to have someone with an arm full of tattoos (so long as they aren't offensive in some way) who was able to do the job than someone who covers theirs up and wasn't. What's next? We don't employ fat people? Or Chinese people? Chillax people. If it's good enough for King George V and Cher, it's good enough for me.
