Guys, what does that even mean? Is it something vulgar? I don't understand it in the context. Wanted to try translating the song but this is one of the things I have noo idea what to do with. Usually, urbandictionary.com is pretty good for slang expressions. Does one of their proposals make sense in this context? => www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pop+corks

When I read this, I get worried about people slamming the lyrics I'm writing for my show.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the majority of shows named and shamed in this thread are extraordinarily successful. Think of it this way: if people are slamming your lyrics, they've *heard* your lyrics. Getting an audience is much better than writing 100% perfect and poetical lyrics from start to finish. You just keep writing what best serves your work, and don't get caught up worrying about the two people who might think you've got a clumsy turn of phrase in the middle of that one second act song.

That's a very good point

"Shut up, I'm rich, not some platinum blonde bitch, I own so many appartments, i've forgotten which is wich"
"If this is real, how should I feel?" (Sunset Blvd)
"They eat too much ice cream And life is like a dream"
As much as I preferred the recent revival to the original production, Miss Saigon still makes it really hard to single out just one song in this category.

"Shut up, I'm rich, not some platinum blonde bitch, I own so many appartments, i've forgotten which is wich" I love the way Glenn spits that line out. And I still think it's a reference to Marilyn Monroe.
