Having just watched it, I really quite enjoyed it. The entire cast was marvellous, especially Laverne Cox. I really like how American television has resurrected these classic musicals/movies from the 70's (Grease, The Wiz, now Rocky Horror) and given them a new life with contemporary performers.
While I did see the original movie ages ago, it's been so long that I cannot remember much of it and I developed a bit of an aversion to the Rocky Horror Show because it's done to death in the German provinces where the small town bores feel oh so wild and daring to be watching this. So I've come to this fairly fresh and just all around enjoyed it - and was reminded of just how good the show itself is. Poor Tim Curry though.

Having just caught this, I'm unsure how to react. Whilst it was incredible honest to the original, it doesn't have the same appeal as the iconic version, but I guess that's mostly because it's the one most of us fell in love with so fondly.
Laverne Cox was surprisingly rather good, but my favourite by far has to Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia.
