Just got a £15 ticket - love Indira Varma and Emilia Clark, so I'm kinda sold by that. Less enthused by Jamie Lloyd but I'm willing to give one of his shows a go...

Not sure how many tickets were on sale in total but only seemed to be a few hundred in the queue, quite easy to get tickets I thought.

Do we think they will do the pay what you can dress run?
Say what you like about the man, but you can't deny his company has got some great schemes in place to help those who can't get into the arts easily!

It is great that they are offering cheap thickets for some categories but the rest of us are then charged a HUGE amount for a decent seat which is why I really don't like this company. Prices for the wider public are so high, it is crazy (and over £60 for a restricted view seat in the circle!)

And also a reminder that 15£ tickets are currently on sale for under30s and keyworkers on 4 dates in March and April: www.atgtickets.com/seagull15/Thanks for the email alert I signed up for, ATG! Guess I'll be trying for the next batch...

Not always very high value in terms of ticket yield or donations

Some mid-week tickets discounted on TodayTix as part of London Theater Week - row J of dress circle for £45 (down from £67). Not a great deal but better than nothing I guess!

I wish I'd seen the £15 seats post before booking. I booked L5&6 at the stalls for £62.5 each. In quite hyped to see Emilia Clarke and wanted to get a good look of her from the stalls, so I don't regret it. Hope the play itself is worth it as well!

Saw the first preview this eve..Never seen it before and would think this can be viewed as very bold or an amboination..Lloyd has made good use of the previous c d b set ..turning it around for a more chip board effect...For a first night the cast seemed spot on...I think this will be a marmite version...But for me as someone new to the piece it was certainly food for thought and it tasted pretty good..

I saw someone on Instagram say it was just pure dialogue, is that true?

It has now ended sadly, and I know things are seriously tough for producers right now, but I'm still surprised to see nothing about this closure on the Jamie Lloyd Company twitter. Is there at least a chance it may return?

I got an email about a credit voucher but no details on rescheduling, whereas other shows have said they are, or are trying to, find new dates.
Nothing yet about A Doll's House at all so maybe it's just a Jamie Lloyd company thing...must be difficult to get that cast back together anytime soon.

We got an email saying that they are in contact with producers about new dates. I think it’s probably just a stalling tactic. We’ve already filled out the form requesting a refund.

I finally got my refund processed today and also got the message about rescheduling...
That’s interesting. I’m not going to pause my refund request as I’m glad it finally got through but I’m inclined to book again if they do reschedule it. I really wanted to see this. Although I don’t see how this is going to work. I’ve got tickets for A Doll‘s House at the beginning of July. I’m expecting these to get cancelled as well...

Tamzin Outhwaite was on the radio this morning saying that this was going back into rehearsal with a view to opening in September.

That's soon. I just can't see it happening then, but I hope I'm wrong.

ATG were surprisingly proficient, had a credit for this from when initially scheduled and was given access to the 48hr early access:
We know that you will have been looking forward to seeing the show, so as a credit voucher holder, we’re giving you TWO DAYS priority access to the new dates.
Fortunately prices seem to have remained the same as my credit covered the new booking exactly.

Thought I had credit for this but was a refund apparently - I feel suddenly poorer :/

Every single seat in the balcony is marked as restricted view - I'd that right? I resent paying any more than £15 for any seat that it restricted view.

Joining the cast alongside the previously announced Emilia Clarke (Nina), Tom Rhys Harries (Trigorin), Daniel Monks (Konstantin), Indira Varma (Arkadina) and Sophie Wu (Masha) are Jason Barnett (Shamrayev), Robert Glenister (Sorin), Mika Onyx Johnson (Medvedenko), Gerald Kyd (Dorn) and Sara Powell (Polina), with understudies Katie Buchholz, Tina Harris, Joseph Langdon and David Lee-Jones.
Pretty much the same cast that was supposed to do it in 2020

It's Jamie Lloyd, it's part of the production to be stripped down.

Stripping down does not require microphones. That is adding an unnecessary element.
Or perhaps one might call it a gimmick...

Why are they wearing microphones? Is projection not a thing for actors these days??? Right from a few years after it opened actors at the NT have always been amplified or miked, once so badly that their voices seemed to be coming from the back of the auditorium.

I saw this production prior to lockdown and enjoyed it. It was the first version of it that I had seen. Couldn't help but think if I had seen a non Jamie L would I of enjoyed even more....
