What would be the chances of still getting discounted tickets at about 2-4pm for the evening performance or 12pm for the matinee performance? If you went to the box office would they sell you a cheaper ticket, like they would if you were there for 10am? Noticed there’s quite a lot of empty seats online upcoming performances, but can not get there in time for 10am when box office opens? Is there any way of ringing the box office and getting day seat priced tickets at 10am instead?

They sell day seats until the allocation runs out. If it is quiet, that may be fairly late. A day seat report from today said only 8 waiting at 9.20am. Otherwise, it's just luck. And no, you can't phone and ask, but you can check to see if dynamic pricing has kicked in online, perhaps. Ah was thinking of going today too! What do you think the queue would be like for Friday 28th December as they have two shows? I would hope it wouldn’t be too bad as just after Xmas or would you advise getting there fairly early?

I queued for day seats this past Saturday. There were 10 of us until just before 9 am but many people by 10 am when they let you stand inside. The show had been seen 271 times by just 8 people in the front of that queue. I think many die heart fans getting in to see as many shows as they can before it closes

I paid £67.50 for Row F of the stalls I think.

I’m glad they’ve changed it for the final performance. Especially the fact they’ve decreased the lottery seats and increased the dayseats. Even though I’ve dayseated for both shows before I’m glad they’ve taken it down to only one ticket per person for that day. Most true fans I know booked long ago anyway so it shouldn’t affect many people I don’t think.

We day seated for this a couple of weeks ago and the second person in the queue got there at 6.15 her friend arrived about 9.30am but then everyone found out they were going to buy 4 tickets 2 each. There was nearly a rugby scum in the queue! So definitely the right decision one ticket one person. I unfortunately can't make it for the final shows but I have a ticket for the tour in Birmingham so some consolation.

A superfan told me at 42nd Street the other night that there were fans planning to camp from the end of the Friday show for the dayseats.

Jordan is on tonight for Charlie, likely his last.

Oh excuse you Mark Shenton?!
Not only is that generally a bit rude for anyone to say 'nah f*** it' if an understudy is on. But someone with his 'influence' (I use the term loosely) should not be tweeting such things.

And clearly everyone who has commented is in agreement, even Jordan has commented with just a GIF of Homer Simpson fading into the bushes. It frustrates me that people of his stature do this, maybe he isn't the right person to have that stature at all?

Quite frankly that is rude and disrespectful to understudies, a real shame to see this tweet.

Mark Shenton is irrelevant.
Does anyone care what he says these days?

Of course Shenton slid into my mentions. Have some class Shents and we wouldn’t be (not) having this conversation...

Shenton is like the Piers Morgan of the theatre world. Hypocritical, bigoted, and followed by an army of fools.
Not related to this, but it seemed beyond disrespectful that he basically live tweeted his mums death a few months ago.....

Ugh did he? I unfollowed him a long while ago. We all deal with such things in our own way, but there is a time to put twitter down.

When he cuts his hair, I'd climb Oliver Tompsett like I was scaling Everest. Natalie missing both shows tomorrow and the Friday show for those wanting to see either her or Suzie. Pah. So much for my plans tonight: she's off! So I'm going to stay in at home and have a night off instead....!

So me and my friend have just sold out tickets to the closing night. In complete truth, alongside train issues and stuff, after 42nd Street closing, I just can't do another closing so soon and I'm still emotionally exhausted after last Saturday I can't do that again. So pathetic. Our tickets literally sold in minutes of us putting them on sale, so clearly there are fans who still need cheap tickets!

I'm not surprised you sold them so quick, I've seen so many people online looking for tickets, and I definitely wouldn't be shelling out £200 for a ticket! Luckily I bought mine minutes after they announced the closing at a 'bargain' £69.
