Only 12 so far.
Started to hold off booking for most Theatres on release and waiting for offers which invariably arrive for the West End Theatres, ones booked are primarily National (cheap seats), Donmar and Almeida as usually sell well and rarely if ever discounted.
From having an almost continual 3 month Fri Eve / Sat PM / Sat Eve rolling calendar this relaxed regime is scary and freeing in equal measure but has resulted in a much lower average ticket price over the last few months and now consistently able to meet my aim of £30 or less average ticket price.
The three shows this weekend (Groan Ups / The Permanent Way / Solaris) have cost me £48 in total, which last year would have been close to the average cost of a single ticket.

I currently have 9 booked next year, though I would have sworn I'd booked more...
In London - Cyrano de Bergerac at the Playhouse, Teenage Dick at the Donmar Warehouse, Sunday in the Park with George at the Savoy, and Hamlet at the Young Vic. In Manchester - Gypsy and Wuthering Heights at the Royal Exchange, My Night with Reg at the Lowry, and Back to the Future at the Palace. In Liverpool - only I Think We Are Alone at the Playhouse so far.
There's 7 things I want to book at Storyhouse in Chester and another 10 at Theatr Clwyd. Then there'll be West Side Story at the Royal Exchange, and after that the new Artistic Directors' first season there. Basically I'm going to continue to be poor for a very long time.
I've been holding off booking for the Playhouse in Liverpool because instead of their usual six month season announcement they've just been slowly filling gaps in the schedule two or three shows at time. When the current season launched they said Our Lady of Blundellsands, a new Jonathan Harvey play, would be on when dates were confirmed, but still no news on that. Other than their Christmas shows I think they've only done Sweeney Todd this year, everything else was touring stuff. Could just be me being a pessimist but it makes me wonder how bad their situation actually is.

Mine's still exactly the same as it was in July, none. I have no idea what I'm doing in a couple of weeks let alone next year. Could be doing something where I have the time to go to the theatre or maybe work will steal any chances of going. So as usual I can't book anything in advance, there are a few things I do want to see but who knows if I'll actually be able to or not.

I have more concerts than theatre at the moment - that i need to fix. So far in theatre The endgame, Joseph and Sister Act. Priscilla and we will rock you, burn the floor, hairspray, women in black, and pride and prejudice.
