Yeah! Ep2 was great. I liked the stereotypical ghosts haunting people aspect so intrigued to see where it's going to go now. Love the Cellar dwellers.

Yes a lot to like. Ben Wilbond keeps stealing it. The little reaction to zombie girl in ep 1 and the elements song here. The ensemble bounce of each other brilliantly, as well they should! However my only gripes really are that Lolly Adefope's character is supremely annoying and the boyfriend has no character or charisma whatsoever.

Not sure about this at all. I want to love it, and it's certainly clever, and the effects are good, but I just have not laughed. On a technical note, do you think they shoot every scene twice, once with the ghosts and once without? I was irritated by this second episode at the same time I was admiring it. Confused dot com.

I think this suffers from having too many creators. It lacks a central coherent vision - at times it feels like a close relative of Rentaghost - very much aimed at younger viewers and at others, it is trying to be more adult. They clearly can't afford the headless character very often - and some of the effects are a little overused.
Just not sure if they really know who they want to watch this or what the point of the concept is.

Best line from tonight’s episode - “What is a Kylie Min-ohg?”.

Okay, wow, this has redeemed itself IN SPADES for me! It feels less like "here are some good lines and here are some funny characters to say them" this week. It has bedded in. And it's earned its watershed spot. Highlights: Lady Button and the builders' bums (my first big laugh at this show, and it was a good one) Thomas should be so lucky. Lucky, lucky, lucky. The joke regarding going towards the light. Another big laugh for me. Robin - humanity's first philosopher? The boyfriend going "to the pub". I agree about the swans, they are Satan at play! The naughty little double act between the general and Julian. Like two schoolboys. {A theory regarding Julian} His moving powers are getting stronger - certainly he has to concentrate less before he gets something to move! Will he be a key factor in getting the house up together, in the end, to help Alison (who he seems to be warming to)? Pat. Oh God Pat. {Spoiler - click to view} I cried with the little bit with his grandson. "He's got my legs!" I love Pat. Bless Pat.

Personal highlight was the cup/wall moment outside. So good.

I've just caught up on 3 and 4 and love it. It seems to be passing under the media radar, especially given the hoopla over Fleabag, but is picking up a following on the blog/fansites. Something horribly similar happened at my brother's school, to a teacher giving a safety demonstration of a javelin - it's so close I think it may have inspired it.

It's doing ok on ratings, getting around 2.5million per episode, which isn't bad for a new start with not much press!

It's doing ok on ratings, getting around 2.5million per episode I've just looked a Wikipedia and they have the first two getting over 4 million, very good if true - Horrible Histories fans growing up and sticking with their actors, because I haven't noticed much publicity (or maybe that's just me).

It must be so hard for all the actors. This weeks episode with the film crew in the house and the ghosts being all around them in the room. Two completely different discussions going on at the same time and each group had to ignore the other as if they weren't there. Not explained well but hopefully you get my drift!! Very clever and well acted

using the production kit as props! Yes - and quite a few nods in the series to the story of the actual house, which has been used for period dramas since Bamber Gascoigne inherited it. I recognise a lot of the rooms from the BBC Howards End.

^A bigger boy made them do it. I got a belly laugh out of that one! As I did with "the metal cow" saga, heh.

I think the series is getting better and better each week. The Rice Krispies and the metal cow gags were the highlights this week. It’s a really fun programme to watch. It’s a shame that there are only 2 episodes left. I wonder if the BBC would commission a 2nd series?

Evening Standard has a good review of the programme and said what many of us have been saying on here that it should be on earlier to get the younger audience.

I thought yesterday’s episode dipped slightly in quality - though I loved the dropping of the wine bottle, and Alison shouting over the noisy ghosts no-one else could see or hear!

That's actually the thing that's annoying me. Alison is perfectly aware that nobody else can see or hear them and as such it's a ridiculous convoluted excuse for a gag to have her shout.

Watched episode 1. Hmmmm... Not sure I'm too fussed about continuing. I found episodes 1 and 2 both really average. If you fancy it, skip to episode 3, I feel that's where it found its feet and started fulfilling its potential.

Hmm, that’s an interesting one. Personally I don’t struggle too much with it. I think they’ve established pretty well they seem so alive to her at times (not to mention hard to ignore, especially in that scene!) that it’s easy for her to forget there’s another world beyond the one she inhabits with them.

The Wikipedia page says it was originally intended as a pre-watershed show, but even so ratingswise it seems to be doing well in its slot.

Excellent finish yesterday, gonna miss those spooks each Monday. Hope they get a second series and they find a way of turning the place into a haunted hotel. Bags of potential for stories if they do, I think. Yet to see the final episode, but been loving it. Imagine a spin off series in a theatre!

Bags of potential for stories if they do, I think. Caught up with the last episode. A great way to end the series and with so much potential for future series as you say. I really do hope that the powers that be at the BBC will commission another series. A fantastic watch with some really clever writing and performances. Also agree with @remark , this really could be good fun if the writers could get this on stage somehow. Id certainly buy a ticket if it happened.
