Great but hardly newsworthy.

Yes, I have to agree. As good an actress as Jenna is, she just hasn’t got the voice for Francesca’s music. Waiting to be proved wrong though.

Thought she was unreal in Fun Home. Will gladly see her in this.
When does this go on sale?

She will act the sh!t out of this, but Christ she cannot sing this... Let's hope she goes into training for it. Will they lower keys? This was literally written FOR Kelli O'Hara, and with her operatic training in mind... But physically and dramatically, Jenna is more suited to the role, so who knows?

Tickets are on sale now.
In terms of the stage set-up, have any other shows been done in this set up. Don't know if I should risk going for a restricted view towards the middle? Just wonder what the restriction will be?!

Thanks for letting us know the Menier tix go on sale at midnight. Makes tomorrow much easier!
Seeing it in previews. Some great new theatre lined up this year, can't wait!

Excellent. I secured A32 for my preferred preview date. Quick and easy compared with booking Sweet Charity and Dear Evan Hansen earlier in the year...
Unusual for a show ticket sale to start at midnight. Travel tickets often go on sale then through an automated system but in my experience rarely theatre.

This is produced in association with Michael Harrison & David Ian, so probably looking to transfer after the Menier run.

Just booked for the previews. Still a huge amount of availability left (not that I expect this to sell out early, it's hardly a name show). I'll reserve judgement before booking a return visit.

Update; it says it's restriced due to a pillar! Haven't been to the Menier before so can anybody help?! I was trying to think when the theatre was set out in this way last and I think it was the last play but as far as musicals go you would have to go back as far as A little night music but I stand to be corrected. And yes the restriction would be a pillar as there are 2 concrete pillars which can affect your view. The reduction in price is quite a lot though.

I don't really know much about this show but have booked anyway.
Fear of missing out syndrome!

Didn’t expect Jenna but now it’s been announced, I can - it’s wonderful casting. Calling Michael Xavier and Damian Humbley right now.

The website has been up and down this morning. I couldn't stay up last night and didn't get around to looking at it until after 9am today (foolish, I know). It went down at about 0915 after I'd tried and failed 3 times to checkout my tickets, then came up a bit at 0925 and I snagged them for real, and now is offline again. No Queue-It system in place, it's like the bad old days of online box office releases. Looks like this is a wee bit popular.

Logged in at midnight and 30 minutes later I was still trying to pay for my tickets as I had problems getting to the payment page. Luckily my tickets remained in my basket. Not an easy page to navigate on a phone.

It's taken me a good half hour to check out this morning, but the nice thing is that the seat I wanted was one of an isolated pair, and although selecting it off the seating plan gave me a "you cannot leave a single seat!" message, asking it to give me the best possible seat in the price bracket convinced the website to give me the exact seat I was after, so I was reasonably confident that no one was likely to snatch it out from under me while I battled with the site.

On the one hand, I had no problem getting on to the site, picking a seat, or paying. Granted, it was about 1am when I booked so I wouldn't have expected the site to be busy.
On the other, I haven't had a confirmation email, although the transaction has appeared in my bank account already.

I've just booked for August.
Given the volume of tickets left, its hardly setting the box office alight.
