Initially booking from 26 September 2021 to 9 January 2022. Evenings at 7.45pm, matinees at 3pm on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday*.
When London's glittering West End fully reopens, weekend breakers will have gone from next to no theatrical choices on a Sunday, to almost having too much choice!
ETA: *Or maybe not. On the booking page, the times are 2.30 and 7.30, except on Sunday when they are 3pm. Clear as mud. 🤔

Sunday at 3 pm is the Broadway norm. London is just aligning its performance schedule increasingly with NY.

Original layout has changed too.. Yes and the £25 row B seats that were a bargain dont exist anymore so if I rebook I'd have to pay more. As I wasn't that bothered about seeing it I have asked for a refund byt not heard anything. Guess they are a bit busy at the moment with all the Les Mis refunds.

Sent a 2nd e mail today nearly a month after the first one as had not received any acknowledgement from DMT. They replied a couple of hours later and said they have now processed the refund. So result in the end.

Hoping to see it on Sunday 28th as a matinee before the Love Story concert at Cadogan.... just hoping some deals pop up!

Such a shame that they’re not going with the original seating layout. Was it close enough to opening last time that it would have been installed and they’ve “undone” it for some reason? It really does lean heavily on projection to the floor of the stage,I can’t see it being as effective if it’s not a similar staging to how it was at the Crucible.

Leopoldstadt wasn't due to end its initial run until 22 June 2020, after which there would have been about 10 days to reconfigure the Wyndham's auditorium.
Far from ideal, but I guess in the current climate it's just too risky.

They’ve had plenty of time since though! But I suppose it’s a £££ thingy.
Nice to know I saw it at its best.

If there are a lot of projections on the stage, do we think Circle seats would be better than Stalls for this? Normally I'm a Stalls boy but I don't want to miss some nifty oceanic wizardry 😁

I'm hoping to get a Sunday matinee show in early Dec.

Any know what the Upper Circle is like at the Wyndhams?

Though I do hope some dynamic pricing kicks in or rush tickets become available.

Well spotted, I hadn't seen those. The Monkey seems to like them! Might keep them in mind. There's a lot of availability left so hopefully some day seats will kick in. Nearly half the first 2 levels are currently £100+! Dynamic pricing may kick in as well once it's open. We can keep things crossed.

I’d guess it will do some sort of rush - there does seem to be a fair amount of availability.

Are they definitely not raising the stall seats as hinted?

Are they definitely not raising the stall seats as hinted? From Baz today:- "Producer Simon Friend took me backstage to show me how the auditorium has been transformed, with a raised stage shaped like a ship's bow and audience seating lifted up to meet the imaginary sea. Views from the top tier circle are fantastic".

Yes, no-one is going to be sold short by the sounds of it. They’ve recreated The Crucible staging, possibly even improved on it? . Reconfiguring theatres seems to be flavour of the month in the WE just now.
I’m sure it will be a huge hit.

I wouldn't be surprised if they extend it as there's nothing planned for the Wyndham's after February.

I'm quite sure that was the plan all along. I can see this being around for some time.

Yep, the article mentions it is planned to be the home for this show for some time.
