So you think you're too good to sit in row T, despite not missing anything from the show and you think it's a show for 'the great unwashed masses'
OK.....
Maybe you should just stay home in the future.

So you think you're too good to sit in row T, despite not missing anything from the show and you think it's a show for 'the great unwashed masses' OK..... Maybe you should just stay home in the future. I didn't think I was 'too good' to sit anywhere. I had paid for Band A tickets and had checked before I left home and knew there were much better Band A seats available than what I had been given. I didn't know (and still don't because I didn't sit there) if I was going to miss anything or not as I hadn't seen the show. If I'd have known the seats were in Row T, I wouldn't have purchased them. It was quite obvious the 'offer' people had been given lesser seats so they could sell the better seats at full price in the interim, even though they were by this evening being sold for half what I paid for my tickets. There was no drama or fuss. If we'd have HAD to sit in the seats we would've, but they were nice enough to upgrade us to better Band A seats which I thanked her profusely for. I thought I gave a pretty fair review of the show and noted the things I thought were great about it, but in the end it didn't all add up to anything brilliant for me. The unwashed masses line was clearly a joke...lighten up! Maybe you shouldn't visit discussion forums if you aren't capable of reading other people's opinions x

Just to say having a look on the seat plan, it tends to be only weekends that stalls Row T is Band A, otherwise they're band B seats (most of the time) so they were not giving you the timeoutoffer as it was stated.
I've got TimeOut seats tomorrow, hoping they don't try to pull this with me.

Listened to the cast recording, thought I'd know more of the songs, but didn't. Anyway, will be seeing the show in a few weeks, with a few more 'ok'-reviews being posted here after all the raves, this turns out to be the show I'm looking forward to most of all on the trip.

The upper 50% of the back and side walls are used for projections which you’ll be at risking of missing the more the overhand impedes your view. I think they’re very impactful (others may disagree) so would be a shame to miss them if it can be avoided.

Yes I agree, they would've been pretty much gone completely from that row as they were only the top half of the stage. There is no way that seats 19 rows from the stage/5 rows from the back wall under a massive overhang should be considered Band A seats. If I was forced to pick those seats from a seating plan I wouldn't have gone.

There are even times when Row T is split into Band A and B or Band B and C and our would've fallen into the B and C categories. Row T is even Band D for some shows this week. They are obviously using this 'dynamite pricing' BS so the Bands are actually all over the shop and seem to change on a daily basis. Just be nice to them at the BO and I'm sure your upgrade experience will go as smoothly as mine did. I'm sure most people will just accept where their seats are. I only posted re the exchange because I was the one who posted the T.O deal here in the first place and felt guilty if people took advantage of it and were now going to get screwed over with less than stellar seats.

Having sat in rows H and S, you miss absolutely nothing from the rear of the stalls. You still get to see all the projections, like where the action is taking place etc. When they sing 'one more try' you dont miss anything then either.

I went to the Opening night last week (thanks for the free program and Prosecco powers that be) and I sat right at the back of the Upper Circle. I’ve got a front row day seat for tonight and am pleased I will be able to see Grace and see how she compares. I get the impression some people don’t rate her, but I’m not sure why? Anyway, I have high hopes and am looking forward to seeing the show again. There’s so much to take in, I was a bit overwhelmed with it all the first time, and wasn’t sure what to make of it. I’m hoping a second viewing from near the front provides me with more clarity. I usually love or dislike a show, but &Juliet left me confused and not knowing what to think!

Nice that the understudies are allowed to announce their dates. So many shows that won't let people know, which is such a shame!

I'm also there tonight for Grace's debut, excited to see a different take.
I'm on the TimeOut Offer so will hopefully get good seats.

To me she always seems like she's on autopilot and gives off an air that she is slightly 'above it all'. She does what she's meant to do, but beyond that there not a lot going on. I'm sure she'll be different in a leading role and she is clearly very talented and from all reports a lovely girl, I just find her a little wishy washy.

No offence taken; we don’t all get the same ‘references’. I’m guessing Ted charges you more than £8 for that experience?

That’s a british expression Ant. It refers to the time when condoms were purchased at barber shops. Men would go to the barbers for a haircut and would be offered condoms under the guise of “something for the weekend?” it’s a bit old hat now. (Which is not a comment on the age of danb’s headwear) you going to see &Juliet anthony40?

I’ve a spare ticket for this Saturday’s matinee (unable to make it due to being poorly). It’s a TodayTix bargain £22 - just posting details on the ticket thread if anyone is interested.
