Why is no one talking about The Savoy for DEH?

Why is no one talking about The Savoy for DEH? Because Cameron is bringing it over so it will go into one of his venues. Also, the Savoy is too big for it.

Is it? I saw it on Broadway and in fact the Savoy looks much smaller. But good point on a CM theatre.

The Savoy has 150-200 more seats than the theatre it's in on Broadway.

I think everyone is adamant Mean Girls is going into the Savoy next too.

I was wondering would Disney consider moving the Lion King to the queens and put Frozen in the Lyceum instead and Moulin Rouge could go into the Drury lane

I was wondering would Disney consider moving the Lion King to the queens and put Frozen in the Lyceum instead and Moulin Rouge could go into the Drury lane Given that The Lion King is still selling well at the Lyceum, the likelyhood of them downsizing is zilch.

I can still see this show in London in 20 years time it will probably be sold out this time next year with the new film coming out

Would not surprise me if we have many more closing announcements these next few months; and more new show announcements via Baz leading into the new year.

Tyrone would be amazing! Question - would they cast a black actress as Heidi hansen (meaning race is considered) or not (meaning colour blind casting)?

Stage Ent confirmed to me today they are bringing Donna Summer over. That’s their next show. Exciting. Stage Entertainment doesn’t producer Donna Summer on Broadway...it’s the Dodgers. Are they acquiring the rights for the West End?

I'm amazed at how this Carl has been allowed to pull things out of his ass for so long.
Tyrone is a great talent. But he's not a teenager. And just because he's small and reads young, doesn't make him a teenager.

Given the Broadway production has been strongly hinted at today on the MR social media pages I'd assume it'll open tail end of 2028 or early 2019 - meaning a West End production is not likely til at least a year after so 2020.

And just because he's small and reads young, doesn't make him a teenager. His entire blog (including a lot of reviews) is based on pulling things out of his ass. And being a bit of one too. (I say this as he tried to be 'friends' with me but once he decided I was no 'use' to him ie don't have any bullsh*tting contacts for him, I was discarded. Obviously I miss this level of high class journalism in my twitter feed)

I've also found him to be an incredible bitch on social media and extremely unsupportive of the industry. Lots of snide tweeting and comments that are just really unpleasant. I also heard that DEH is going into a DMT house, I'm just interested that he appears so confident to tweet things like that as if they were fact.

I don't really get the hype over Tyrone, but I'm sure he'd be good in the role. I would rather see the role taken on by a complete newcomer though, or someone who had been in the Ensemble for years and this is their breakthrough. It is such an incredible role for that!

I’d have loved to see Tyrone in this, I think his voice would have suited very well, and what a voice it is! His acting skills weren’t really showcased in Dreamgirls but it sounds like he was brilliant in JCS. Maybe he is a little bit too old-looking for the part but may I remind everyone of 41 year-old Willemijn Verkaik in Wicked and Ghost.

I’m pretty sure Rachel Tucker teased that she had news coming later this month, so could be related?

I’m all for the hype of a new opening and hearing about casting, but I didn’t get excited about the OCR so not really that bothered/excited about it transferring.... but I did listen to it at the same time as DEH so I don’t think it had a fair crack of the whip!
