I’ll try for a JOJ show this time. Boe was fine but I’d love to see it acted. It’s going to be extortionate isn’t it?

Well this really is amazing news. We need to give you your due credit, Mystic @sharpe12. You called this months ago. Any other predictions? 🙂

I'd hope that they would make it fairly reasonable, considering the current climate. I booked for Pantoland recently and that was about 75 a ticket, so not too bad, especially for the names in the show. So something like that for this shouldn't be too bad 🤞

Tickets on sale 14th October 13th if you go to the website and register and 12th if you are a member of DMT. I registered last night I think, but the servers have crashed now and can't seem to accept any more registrations 😔.

I am guessing prices will be similar to what they were for the staged concerts last year. Also on the website it says you can use your Les Mis credit vouchers but that prices will be different from the main show. Which I think is a good indication they will be more expensive.
I'm going to try to get a ticket but not expecting to get one as there probably won't be a lot of singles.

And they can (and probs will) charge the earth and probs still make a profit from a socially distanced audience!

It’s going to be extortionate isn’t it? I fear it may be! And I and thousands of others will pay it just to feel alive again. I wonder what they’ll do with the orchestra this time around? I reckon a fair few of them will be hidden backstage, just leaving some attractive string players and a foxy harpist on show.

Me when I see Les Mis live: "OK that was amazing, no cast is going to top that, won't see it on stage again"
Me when a new concert or cast is announced "Take all my money!"

From the queueing website: "John Owen Jones is scheduled to perform the role of Jean Valjean on Tuesday evening and Saturday matinee performances."

How do you get in the queue? I just get a server error. Okay, the answer is you keep trying until you can log in successfully, then you proceed to the members area, then you use the ticket link on that page. 729 people in front of me if the rest proceeds without a hitch. At least I am working from home.

I just get a server error. I used the link in the email they sent about ten minutes before noon (and which also for some reason got sorted into spam, never mind that I constantly get DMT mails which appear in my inbox just fine...)

Thanks, mine didn't arrive until 12:02, so not that much use (and I don't dare click it as I'm sure it will reset my place in the queue)... Now down to 721 people in front of me.

657 people to go. I don't hold up much hope of there being any single seats left.

I tried updating my details and choosing a new password and it then let me log in, though not sure if that made the difference. Almost 2000 in the queue in front of me

I got three front row stalls seats for the 5th December. I didn't get a chance to analyse the seating plan though, and just grabbed those three as fast as I could. It looked like every row was on sale, but batched off into groups. Single seats were at the ends of the front row I think.
Sorry, I should have taken a screen shot to look at it properly afterwards.
I'm looking forward to seeing the first performance of Les Mis in about nine months, but I'm not getting too excited yet as a lot can change between now and then.

If this sells out before it even goes on general sale I suspect extra performances will be added. Any reason why the run couldn't be extended ?

I ended up grabbing a single seat in the dress circle front row for what should be JOJ's last show. Prices seemed to have stayed at about the same level as they were before for the concert.
Availability still looked good, except for the first show that seemed to be about half sold out.

£570 later.... 2 lots of 3xfront row seats. One with Alfie Bow one with God himself (John Owen Jones). Plenty of seats but you must buy all in your respective "bubble".
