Matilda is up and I am sure that is a first. I saw Matilda in either 2016 or 2017 using the New Year Sale. I remember in Jan 2018 seeing Phantom as we got three sale seats near the right hand side in the front row for a matinee and three the same evening central front row for 42nd Street. I was disappointed with the seats allocated to the sale this time last year and from posts on this thread it looks like a similar scenario this year.

Ahh, I forgot the frustration of trying to get the Priceless website to load up.

There are so many ways of doing a launch like this successfully these days, with the use of Queue IT systems etc. Somehow every year they still managed to screw up this sale. Trying to access the mastercard pre sale this morning and the Priceless website has crashed throwing errors and not loading pages, then eventually if a page does load without an error there's just a 'coming soon' button and no link to be taken to the OLT site to see what tickets are available. Don't suppose anyone has the link that the priceless site is supposed to direct you to to look at the tickets?

I managed to get a page with a "book here" rather than "coming soon" button on my phone, but it didn't work
At least nobody else will be able to get on either!

I managed to get a 'Book Here' button in my Safari browser too, but clicking it didn't do anything. Refreshed the page and it's gone back to 'Coming Soon'. Chrome won't load at all.

Fantastic, that works!
So .. having dug around a bit, not a great selection of seats for most things, and also quite a few are only available Monday to Thursday. Looks like quite a good deal on "Wicked" which has seats for all performances including both on Saturday, with stalls seats for £40, normally £77.

I've just spent a couple of hours looking at what's available in this sale. For many shows the seats are in my opinion among the least attractive in their price categories but there are some good deals, notably for Matilda, Wicked and Phantom Of The Opera which IS now included in the sale. My best buy is front row centre for Phantom price £30, "sightline restricted" but not much so as I recall.
I also booked two central stalls front row seats for Matilda, plus a row C stalls for ... Jamie. It's worth checking the sale regularly as more seats are usually added, sometimes just a day or two before the performance date. I once got a front row seat in the sale for Wicked for £40 booked on the day

The MasterCard presale tickets were RUBBISH!
Many more and better seats available now.
Went with Jamie and Prince of Egypt.
I can get better seats on rush for Girl from the North so I'll just get those when required.
Pretty slim pickings though this year compared to last year.

Matilda is up and I am sure that is a first. It was on last year when I unfortunately put myself through the utter muck of a show x

Has anyone received emails confirming their ticket purchases?
I bought 2 lots of tickets last week and didn't receive a confirmation email from see tickets for either of them.
I went to the contact page and got them to send me a record of my purchases for the last 6 months and they never came through.
When I try to log in it says my email address is not on their system, despite them sending me update emails every week.
I purchased about 10 shows last year, so there must be some kind of record.
Weird!

Yes I've made five separate bookings and received an immediate acknowledgement from See Tickets for each one.

How odd, looks like I will have to try calling them. Thanks x

I also got my email confirmation almost immediately after booking tickets for Waitress, my only booking this year with the GILT offer.

Phantom is NOW part of the sale, after I already bought tickets at full price.

Phantom is now not showing as part of the sale. It had so many great seats for £40 earlier. Matilda was also showing earlier but isn't there now.

In previous years shows have been removed from the promotion when the seat allocation has all or nearly all been sold but reinstated later with more seats added. Worth checking back regularly.

At the time of posting, both Matilda and PoTO have tickets available.
Top tip - put the tickets in your basket, then buy theatre tokens in a different tab using promo code XMAS2019 for a 10% discount.
That's what I've just done for Le Corsaire. I'm going upmarket in 2020!

Phantom keeps putting new seats on sale each day. Today I kept refreshing it every 30 mins or so and sure enough at 4pm-ish 3 front row seats plus a few seats further back but still front of stalls popped up for £30. I had to work around the system as I wanted 2 tickets and it didn't let me book due to "you must leave no single seats", but once I put the single seat in my basket on the LW site, I could get the 2 I wanted.

but once I put the single seat in my basket on the LW site, I could get the 2 I wanted. This is a genius trick of sorcery I will be using in the future This ploy also works by opening a google incognito/stealth mode window and putting the seat out of the three you don't want in a basket there , then close that window buy the two you do want. I've wondered if there is a sneaky way to buy one out of two seats where the website bars leaving a single seat. I've never succeeded in doing that.
