Thanks for the reminder, I've booked ... now bring me some stars! Actually, I'd love to see Clive Rowe revive his Nicely Nicely, it's still one of my stand out theatre moments ever ever ever. GODDAMMIT!!!! Pah to the rest of the casting, this is me made up!

Let's hope this casting news sells some tickets as there was a lot of availability for (expensive) tickets last time I looked.

Jason Manford cannot act, unless he’s been doing some serious training since Chitty. He was dreadful.
I’m no doubt the only person to do a “Who??” at “Meow Meow”.

OMGosh. Meow Meow will be amazeballs as Miss Adelaide. And generally her hair is so big that you'll be able to spot her from any seat in the RAH.

I would have thought Meow Meow better suited to “Cats”...

Jason Manford IS Nathan Detroit.
In related news, I will not be buying a ticket.

Lara Pulver will be playing Sarah Brown, Sharon D Clarke will be General Cartwright, Paul Nicholas will be Arvide Abernathy and, intriguingly, Stephen Mangan of all people will be the narrator of all things.
The cast will also include Stephane Anelli, Dan Burton, Cory English, Julian Forsyth, Nia Jermin, Alexis Owen Hobbs, Sévan Stephan, Matthew Whennell-Clark, Davide Fienauri, Stevie Hutchinson, Ross McLaren, Ebony Molina, Jo Morris, Cris Penfold, Jak Skelly, Rachel Stanley and Alexandra Waite-Roberts.

Sharon D Clarke will be wasted in this. As far as I remember General Cartwright is a very small role with no solo number.
I always find stuff at the RAH expensive - especially as it is totally unsuited as venue to musical theatre - and there seem to be very few discounts.

Nice article in last night's Evening Standard with Laura Pulver talking about returning to the stage in London.

Do I risk a cheap seat in the choir or wait for a discount? I'm very tempted to go!

In case the discounts don't happen soon, I have 2 surplus tickets for the Saturday matinee - face value £70 each but I will accept (reasonable) offers!
