I'm sooo looking forward to this can't wait !
As an aside I notice that on the Noticeboard someone is selling a Lazarus ticket not sure how that works as on my tickets it says you need to bring photographic ID to the theatre ( presumably to deter touts ? ) ?

They always say that though. I've never been asked for ID or a card for any show, even though I am actually me!

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but Jon Boydon is the offstage cover for Michael C Hall. What is an offstage cover please?

My guess is that it's someone who isn't part of the chorus/regular cast, but will only receive a call to come in and perform if/when Michael C Hall is indisposed?

An understudy who doesn't play another role in the show. I think!
God I wish I'd booked sooner for this. So many of those premium (often £150) seats left and in many cases not a lot of anything else. Going on a hunt for one of those sweet £15 back row seats!

Going on a hunt for one of those sweet £15 back row seats! If you had been quicker it would have been a sweet £15 FRONT row ticket! I looked at a random date in Jan (5th) and loads of £15 back row tickets avail

I know! I had just shelled out summer rent on a new house the day they went on sale (talk about bad timing!) So didn't really want to be spending any more. Fancy seeing it around October / November so may have to go up a priceband. We'll see...

For any poor theatre lovers like me, they have added more £15 tickets at the back.

Hallelujah! Althought wasn't that announced a while back? Not bad. Wonder how popular it'll be though (very, I imagine).

It's not sold out by quite a long way at the mo. Well over 1000 seats now they added those other rows. Guess when it opens the wider public will get in on the action (though not the £15 front row MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

not the £15 front row MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) Eugh, so annoyed I missed out on those. Wonder how shocking row ZK will be... although for £15 I really can't complain.

Such was my disgust at completely missing the front row I still haven't booked a seat, I'll probably relentlessly put in for the lottery. I need like an emergency alarm system for when tickets are going on sale for things.

The theatre for this is next to the Donmar temporary theatre Massive bar area and (I reckon) not enough loos are shared by both shows

I had a peak the other night when I went to The Railway Children. The bar area looks horrible and cold. Also not good if the toilet situation is bad. Shame when the bar/toilets for In The Heights/Railway Children is so right!

Re the loos - the gents has 2 cubicles and maybe 10 urinals. There was a queue out the door of the ladies before the Donmar show, so presumably will be worse when both shows are running
Doesn't seem adequate for 2 sizeable theatres although I guess the fact none of the shows have intervals will help (although perhaps not as 2 hours straight through implies last minute pee just in case) Also maybe the start times are staggered?
Having said all that - the entrance is right next to Kings Cross Station (unlike the Railway Children theatre) so could always use the facilities there

EP played Life on Mars from this this afternoon. I felt completely underwhelmed by the thin orchestration and the 15 year old girl singing it.

Honestly, that girl is the only thing about this show worth seeing. I was very underwhelmed by it in New York, but she was absolutely amazing and saved it from being a complete waste of a theatre slot for me.

A couple of front row tickets just popped up for the date I was booked for so I rang the box office and they swapped them just like that. Lovely box office man on the phone btw.
No idea why front row is so cheap (high stage I'm guessing, but we obviously have no pics from inside the theatre yet) but anything is likely to be better than row ZK where we were before. At least I won't have to pack opera glasses anymore!

I'm beyond shocked that I was unable to realize that this Lazarus was the off-Bway production that Bowie/Walsh did in NY.
Michael C. Hall, best tv actor of his generation, is reprising his role, DAMN.
Also shocked that the good tickets are either £95 or £75!!!
If there's any sale, please let me know! Otherwise I will have to buy a V row for £55 as I already paid too much for King Lear and Dreamgirls (and I wanna try HPotter's tickets)
