The 2010 workshop of the show is now on youtube. It's pro shot. Its really interesting to see what they changed before opening the show under a year later. That had been floating around Google Drive for a bit and I'm surprised it's lasted this long on YouTube! Josh Gad tweeted a gif from it a couple of months ago but I guess BoM made him take it down. Ha.

Went to the Saturday matinee of BOM this week, and whilst enjoyable it didn’t match the all out joy & hilarity of my first visit. The new Price looked only just the right side of comfortable, but the understudy Cunningham was great. Easier to get right I feel as he is a charicature. Steven Webb made a great McMillan too. Just not sure it’s ripe for repeat viewing.

Just not sure it’s ripe for repeat viewing. I was lucky enough to go to the initial previews and thought it was funny but wouldn’t need to see it again. Have since seen it three times with out of towners and actually found it funnier than ever much to my surprise. Give it another go.

Lol with the amount of shows closing soon, I was scared when I saw someone had posted here! This is still selling amazingly well, right?

Last time I tried to get a ticket for a few specific dates they were completely sold out. They have started using TodayTix in the last year to push tickets and offers (such as the 25 shows for £25, etc) which they hadn't really done for at all since opening, so I'd say that's a indicator of slight slowing slowing sales... Not anything to worry about just yet mind.

Mormon has started doing that on TodayTix on Broadway this year as well. It's consistently selling out, but not a surprise after this long.

I imagine Mormon will still be around for its 10th anniversary but beyond that I’m not sure. I think the London production will either close or move if Cameron wants the Prince of Wales for another show.

I can’t imagine Cameron will be doing absolutely anything with a show which is still selling well.

They have just opened priority booking for January / February next year, public booking opens tomorrow or Monday, not sure. Either way, midweek matinees in January - I looked at the 16th - have most of the stalls and dress circle at £50 or less. Some really good and less expensive tickets going, basically. I was waiting for the next booking period as my friend wants to go, will be my first time since the original cast (I think). looking at cheapest tickets for 2 so should I go loge seats or back row of the circle side block? I'm inclined for Loge (as no heads in the way etc..) but not sure if there is a reason not to

Loges, the lowest one only. Then back circle, then high loges (and only then if you don't mind heights, it's vertiginous). Thank you, Lower loge booked. And I was mistaken, I've seen OLC and May 2015 cast so far.

Saw this again last night, which was apparently the 9th time. It was fab, the cast were really on it, especially Steven Webb as Elder McKinley who was probably the best one I've seen since Steven Ashfield was there. Alex Lodge was great as Elder Price, very glad we got to see him. He did corpse mid-way through the 2nd half, and just couldn't get it back for at least 1-2 minutes, which was actually great to see. He did manage to carry on and was perfect through till the end.

Once I baptized Nutella the others just fell into place." and he just couldn't stop laughing. Was very funny, also interesting as it's not like Nabalungi isn't called a lot of other things during the show at different point. Maybe the laughter had just been building up and he had to corpse.

I definitely remember something similar being a part of the show when I saw the tour in Philly. I went to both the matinee and evening, and Chris O'Neill (Elder Cunningham) faux-corpsed the same way at both, but after delivering that very line. I was both amused and put off.

Oh that would have been annoying. I think this was an definite corpse, I've seen the show a fair few times and never seen Elder Price just lose it before.

I saw Chris O'Neill a number of times after that on Broadway, so I'm not sure if it was a temporary thing just that day or that week or what. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be a fixture!

Luke George, Ensemble member of 42nd Street, is joining the cast in three weeks time! Do we know any other new cast members joining?

Did we pick up on Oliver Jacobson as the new standby Elder Cunningham? Joining at the end of February.
I've booked for February 4th, sitting near the front of the Stalls for the change (instead of the really cheap seats at the back that I normally choose).
