I was hanging with that nice Dan Walker, and his lovely wife, yesterday afternoon. He's just a normal bloke, you see, who does normal things.
Pity it wasn't them sitting directly behind me. The people who were arrived late, then spent most of the next 45 minutes 'whispering' to each other.

My mum wants some new Anaglypta putting up in the outhouse so if you or Dan are available please let me know. She’ll be wanting mates rates, especially as no stepladders are required 😐

I sat in front of Aiden Turner at Jerusalem last week. Apparently Jason Mansford was also in at the same time but I didn’t see him a friend did

Anyone at the ABBA press night tonight will be able to say ABBA and I think that would win the prize for famous people spotting.

Weirdly, I've never seen any politicians at the theatre ever. I've seen Betty Bothroyd twice at the theatre but possibly after she had retired as speaker.

I saw the late Shirley Williams at the Donmar once and local politicians tend to go to fund raising shows in the constituences. I saw Michael Fabricant at a show in Lichfield Cathedral once too.

I saw a local MP in a nightclub on Saturday. I live in Brighton. There was leather involved. I’ll say n’more.

Not exactly surprising but Rupert Christiansen was at the Royal Opera House tonight for "Samson and Dalila" as was Elina Garanca's husband, who is a conductor in his own right.

Really random assortment in the last few days I’ve seen Tom Price and Ciaran Owens at The Corn is Green (and I think I saw Dino Fetscher on the way out,) Connor Swindells and Jo Coburn at Jerusalem, George Rainsford watching Richard Winsor in The Car Man, the Reverend Richard Coles in the loos at My Fair Lady, and Joel Montague taking selfies with fans in the bar at Cinderella this afternoon.

sweets7 He wasn't alone but he wasn't with anyone I recognised. Now if he'd been with Roger Allam or Abigail Thaw I would have been very excited!

Maybe it's always like this at Jerusalem but tonight's stalls included Hannah Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis, Daniel Mays and Will Gompertz.
