Just managed to bag a restricted view ticket to the human body for £21. Happy with that! Still a few tickets left per performance from about a week into the run and standing for £15.

How is standing at the Donmar for short people? I’m about 5 ft 2.

Yes I noticed a few tickets released this morning for next Thursday evening - great to see a few are popping up for those of us who know (thanks to this board!) when to look.

Primary Trust cancelled, Skeleton Crew running in place (same dates from the look of it).

It is the Michal Longhurst <> Tim Sheader crossover period. New boss making his mark?
ETA: in fact, today is Sheader's first official day on the job:

It is still part of Longhurst's final season.

Hmm... reading the synopsis for Skeleton Crew, this feels like a play I've seen before at the Donmar - it sounds very similar to Sweat. Think I'm going to take up the refund and see how I feel if there are tix available nearer the time.

USA orientated (again). Blue and white collar family divided, etc. Working class US battles change. Not Lynn Nottage this time (SWEAT, Clyde's). Won a couple of Tony's a decade ago, though not for writing, direction.
I hate to say it but my 'unearned sentiment' alert just blew up. Hope not. Keeping my seat.
Arguably a decent choice given the US election campaigns will be in full flow during the run. I do hope this isn't the continuation of half-arsed, ill met dabbling in the socio-political zeitgeist because Longhurst was out of his depth in a puddle.

I wonder why Primary Trust has been cancelled? My understanding is the playwright pulled the plug when it became apparent they couldn’t get the star casting she demanded.

Won a couple of Tony's a decade ago, though not for writing, direction. Correction: the 2022 Broadway production (not “a decade ago”) won one Tony: Phylicia Rashad won for best performance by an actress in a featured role in a play. The production was nominated for, but did not win, Tonys for best play and best scenic design of a play. Source: www.ibdb.com/broadway-production/skeleton-crew-531761#AwardsI did not see the Broadway production, but I saw the 2016 off-Broadway production, in which Lynda Gravatt (who died last week) was magnificent in the role for which Phylicia Rashad won the Tony.

Any clues on who the actress was that they couldn't get?

Any clues on who the actress was that they couldn't get? Primary Trust has, I believe, a male lead. I will allow you to speculate on whom.

I saw Skeleton Crew on Broadway. Very enjoyable play and definite similarities to Sweat. Will be going for another visit.
