Oh my days. What excellent additions. Really giving big consideration to booking the matinee as well now. I might wait to see if there's any discounts though...

Very disappointing how American stars have been prioritised over homegrown talent.
And these are only "big names" if you're REALLY into Broadway)

Granted we have a lot of talent but many of those are brought out every time there is a concert version or gala and although I love seeing them this is a real treat to see stars that we seldom get to see performing in the UK. So personally I'm absolutely thrilled to get a chance so see them.

Daniel Dae Kim is a pretty big non theatre name. Has been in two massive tv shows in both america and UK that ran for many years. Patrick Wilson has built up a respectable film career, including the popular Insidious and Conjuring franchises.

I can’t justify those ticket prices no matter who the names are.

Seems like the new names have shifted quite a lot of seats. The evening performance now nothing left in the upper circle and balcony with only the most expensive seats in dress and stalls left. More availability for the matinee but this could be due to the fact its a Tuesday so people will be working. I think there would have to be a huge name added to shift the most expensive seats.

Michael Ball and Lucy St Louis added to lineup.
Looks like they’re the last of the headliners as it no longer says more to be announced. Though they haven’t announced the choir or the dancers.

Good one noticing it no longer says more to be announced, that totally passed me by! Was about to ask if we expect any more. Can't wait for this.

I still really want to go to this, but it's over £100 for a half decent seat.

Nice additions. I know its not popular to like Mr Ball but he always gives great value for money and I love his voice. The evening performance now only has the most expensive seats left. Still some cheaper ones for the matinee.

My e mail says 'surprise guest appearances" so I read that to be there are more to come. They will probably be introducing the performers rather than performing themselves.

I'm more than happy with who we have but if there's more to come, even if just presenters, I'm very excited again!

Copied from WOS and edited slightly to match the show’s own website… Are there more names to come? Assuming a “featured ensemble” will be more than 3 people.

Copied and edited slightly… Thanks for the update. I knew about Maria Friedman but not that AJ Casey was now in it. She is brilliant in everything she does. Shame about Ashley Park though. I was looking forward to seeing her as I really enjoyed Emily in Paris. This is the problem with these gala concerts and people pulling out at the last minute. I can understand if its due to illness but when it's something like "scheduling conflicts" or similar I often think it's because they got a better offer which is unfair on the paying public.

I think the strike in America has caused lots of issues for actors, so (if it was Emily in Paris) she likely understood she'd be able to get back to London in time but filming schedules have changed and she's more tied into that than she was to this.

I understand that but if you are not 100% sure you can do something (illness aside) then don't commit to it. It's not fair on people paying good money. I'm not singling her out but I find it happens a lot with these gala concerts. Maybe I'm from an era when if you said you were going to do something you do it even if something better comes up afterwards.
Anyway I'm not too upset as there are others I want to see more in the show. So Aaron Tveit if you are reading this, you better have your flight booked. 😀
