Yet another event where the prices are prohibitively expensive. £31.50 to sit at the very back of the balcony. I will be waiting for offers. Same here. I don't think the Tuesday matinee at least will sell out at those prices. Oh for the earlier years of these concerts at Cadogan Hall on Sundays when seat prices were rarely above £70 with plenty around £25.

Well I'm in. Picked up a nice little box seat for £65. Can't complain - think Monday evening will sell quickly and Tuesday will probably bring in coach parties.

Bought some cheap seats at the back of the balcony. I love the music, songs, and even the movie! But Evita always makes me nervous - I saw the touring production in 2008 and it was honestly like watching paint dry. Hoping this is better!
Love Rawle! First saw him in the Aspects tour back in 2007, so excited to see how he's developed.

LW Theatres have just emailed a ‘best seats for £25’ offer, available until midnight Sunday. BurlyBeaR is it ok to post the link here for anyone who might want it?

I was just about to start cursing, having forked out for the matinee, but there is hardly anything left now.

Yes, there wasn’t much decent left when I looked, but it’s a good way to sell the remaining seats.

I considered this when it went on sale, and immediately dismissed it due to the ticket prices. Booked centre of row D in the Royal Circle just now for the Tuesday matinee. Absolutely plum seats normally sold as Premium.
I paid £25 (plus £1.65 cancellation insurance), rather than the original price, which I think was pushing £150. Easy decision.

Auli’i Cravalho was just interviewed and performed Don’t Cry For Me Argentina on ITV’s This Morning FYI. At the first of the interview Auli’i comes across a bit too media trained and cold while trying too hard to be warm, but it seems she loosens up in part thanks to Alison’s brand of interviewing. The performance just highlights how woefully young she is for the role. She’s only 5 years younger than Eva was when she’d have sung that song within the context of the musical but 22 and 27 might as well be generations apart. I know most of the growing up I did was definitely between those two ages. Had they gone down the route of the current production in the US with a younger and older Eva she could have crushed the younger Eva Duarte, but as the older Eva Peron she just doesn’t come across as believable. Side note; it was interesting to interview an actress primarily known for film yet being unable to talk about films due to the strikes.

Hi, I've double booked for this for tomorrow's matinee. Does anyone want two tickets, Stalls R7 and R8, £25 each, bought via Today Tix, so I can just change the name. Thanks.

About what time did it finish? Going tomorrow and with the reduced service, I might need to find alternative methods home because the last train leaves at 22:27!
