Just to echo an earlier post, there's some nice dynamic pricing going on with this play at the moment for anybody who fancies paying slightly less.

I saw this on Friday from a reduced premium seat in Row C. It was fair value but I’d like to see it again from further back as it did feel like some moments were lost by being so close to the stage.
I loved it. I binged the entirety of the series in the run up to going to see it - and I would recommend others do the same. I fear I would’ve been totally lost without knowledge of Season 4.
I thought it all tied together really nicely and obviously both answers questions but leaves a lot open for Season 5 to wrap up.

Anyone else get a feeling this is underperforming at the moment? Seeing a LOT of ticket offers on social that would be unexpected from something expected to be as big as I think they hoped.

I think they’re in need of some national promotion to be honest. Most people when I was telling I was going to see it last week had no idea that a play even existed. I’m getting a lot more social media adverts than ever before too.
I’m surprised Netflix haven’t thrown together a 30min “behind the scenes” documentary yet. Put it up there and it can act as both a bridge for content between seasons 4-5 and promotion for the play.

During my planning of my London trip this one wasn’t on my list of shows to see as I haven’t seen the tv series, but with some recent posts from members in the same boat and still giving this one really positive reviews, thought I would take a punt on this one and I ended up getting a great seat from TKTS in the Dress Circle (G21) for £33 for today’s matinee. A great view that provided a nice cinematic feel to the show whilst still being close enough to the stage to see faces clearly. Despite a great view, those seats for a 3 hr run time really are not most comfortable to sit in and I certainly was happy to stretch my legs at the interval.
As for the show itself, I was really impressed with it and despite not having any prior knowledge going into it, I still had a great afternoon watching it (I certainly felt I got full value out if my ticket walking out after the show) and the story was still enjoyable, engaging and made sense though I probably would of got more out if it having seen the series before hand. I thought it was well paced over the 3 hours with a terrific cast on stage.
Where this one was a big win for me was in the technical aspects of the show. Right from that stunning opening scene with boat, the SFX really were top class stuff and along with a fantastic sound, lighting and video design that really gave me that wow factor this afternoon.
A great start to my birthday weekend. Rating 4⭐️

Yeah, few other people have noticed Shadow Seats are gone now too. The info is still on their website. Perhaps it's a temporary pause for summer? Also could be a disagreement with TodayTix of some kind, who knows. I hadn't thought ST was selling that well so idk why they would stop the lottery.
